Via an e-mail from Astroturfing for Obama, former campaign manager David Plouffe has the audacity to claim the $787 billion dollar stimulus-in-name only package, which was passed one year ago, saved the jobs lost in the last year of the Bush Administration.
Marooned --
Wondering what the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act -- President Obama's stimulus bill -- has accomplished? Look at this:
One year ago tomorrow, after tens of thousands of you shared stories and called your representatives, the President signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
And while this anniversary isn't a cause for celebration, there is reason to be optimistic. This chart makes it clear: We're on the road to recovery.
Still, we know there is a long way to go. Many Americans are still struggling, and creating jobs remains President Obama's top priority.

Thanks for making change (read: socialism) happen,
David Plouffe

Barry and his little girlyman, Plouffe, have gone back into full campaign mode. Pee on their legs and tell them it’s raining.

Note to Plouffe - “Crack is whack”. Put down the crackpipe and slowly back away from it.

Objectively, this stinks of complete lack of leadership. First, He’s in campaign mode. Second, he’s directly blaming Bush.
I’d like to think nobody but His fund raisers buy it (and maybe not them).
Seriously, I worked in a kitchen once. A year in, it would be unacceptable to blame a dirty fridge on ‘the last guy’....and that was a below minimum wage job. Looks like leadership is above His paygrade.

David Plouffe has the audacity to claim the $787 billion dollar stimulus-in-name only package, which was passed one year ago, saved the jobs lost in the last year of the Bush Administration. Typical fuzzy liberal thinking and use of language. If a job was lost then it was gone, not saved. Of course, they can't claim that jobs lost have been recovered because the numbers are too well known. Since obama took office, there has been a net loss of jobs. So in typical liberal fashion they try to associate "saved" with them, "lost" with former President Bush. Never mind saved is just plain wrong in this context, and that they cannot in any way measure jobs actually saved (if there are any).

In December the Obama Administration announced they had saved or created 1.1 million jobs.
In January the Obama Administration announced they had saved or created 2 million jobs.
Too bad for Obama that Americans arent buying his saved or created nonsense.
Just 6% of Americans believe the $787 stimulus boondoggle created any jobs according to a recent New York Times/CBS poll.

Just 6%.
It must be Bushs fault.
UPDATE: Jason Mattera points out that more Americans who believe that Bush blew up the World Trade Center that that Porkulus created jobs. Sad.
