I have to move 2400 lb. pallets of paper onto a truck and then deliver them. Let's hope that in moving those pallets he uses either a Hyster or a Yale fork lift. I help make 'em.

I have to move 2400 lb. pallets of paper onto a truck and then deliver them. So he's a paperboy?
I did that at age 10 on my Schwinn, but I never bragged about it.

What’s with all the DUmmies giving this guy lifting instructions/cautions.
He said he is lifting one ton pallets into the back of a truck. Something tells me he will be using a forklift.
Oh well, bend at the knees, moron!

Is this lil Socialist using a forklift to load all of that dead forest onto filthy trucks for filthy money?!!!
I sense a deep internal conflict in his future.

I found something interesting in the way this person describes the experience of getting the “free” stuff from the government vs. the experience of earning a day's pay. He used the phrase “jumping through hoops”; like a trained animal would do for morsel of food. The dichotomy of the conversation is not all that subtle. I wonder if the author is internally struggling with what he has invested so much faith against what he has now experienced. My curiosity would like a follow-up in 6 months and 5 years.
