An impressive winter storm is aiming for New York City/Long Island/Boston. DC will see another snowy blast, too, but the main focus is around New York City and along Long Island where 1 to 2 feet of snow is possible with very strong winds, too. We can't have bad weather until LATE Saturday night.
We have to complete the Georgia High School state championship swim meet. (daughter SHOULD be in the finals!)

The meterologists here in upstate SC are calling for the next storm track to follow south of this area which supports your call for the more southerly track.
It should be interesting......

In 1966 or 67 we had snow in Atlanta the weekend of our regional wrestling tournament. The 95 pound wrestler rode with me, first class to go in order . When it started snowing we got a call that the meet had been moved up and to get to Briarcliff High ASAP. I had my mom’s station wagon which had no traction on the rear tires it was so light, a 59 Rambler cross country with push button transmission. So Rudy rode the rear bumber throwing what weight he had back and forth all the way to Briarcliff. Be carefull, and good luck.
Blog link is OK by me: fascinating, in fact.
Weather.com is calling for snow in Georgia on Friday.
Congrats on your daughters success! It is a great feat to get that far.
Great info! Please do keep posting to FR!
