I grew up in the “Heartland” being born and raised in St. Louis, MO. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to be a meteorologist. My mom always said my head was in the clouds. I graduated from Parks College of Saint Louis University in 2000 with a B.S. degree in Aeronautics, major in meteorology. Today, I am a proud member of the Storm Force 31 weather team. I am dedicated to providing accurate, life saving and easy-to-understand weather information to those in northern Alabama and south-central TN.

By the way, if you ask me about my believe in global warming here is the answer I will give you, “Is some of the numerical output indicating some warming? Yes. Does that mean we are warming? No. There is more “heat island” affects today then ever and that impacts local temperatures but when you take a bigger look the overall temperature trends have changed very little. In addition, the Earth goes through cycles of cooling and warming and it is likely we have just completed one of those warm cycles but I strongly believe the scientific evidence is there to indicate we are beginning to go back the other direction into a cool cycle.”
