The “Hope For Haiti Now’ Telethon will air tonight on every major U.S. television network during prime time. The telethon which is being organized and co-hosted by George Clooney can be seen beginning at 7:00 pm CST on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, MTV and several other networks including CNN.
Clooney will host the portion of the telethon that is broadcast live from Los Angeles, with Haitian-born musician Wyclef Jean hosting from New York and CNN’s Anderson Cooper hosting from Haiti.

The telethon is still in the early stages there is time for someone to go out on a limb.
However, it does show that they CARE.

Its for a good cause, I have no problem with them holding this telethon. As long as they keep politics out of it. I am watching it in bits and pieces, seems alright to me.
I only get 6 stations now. They all are showing that telethon. Makes me feel like I’m in Russia or somewhere.
That’s how I feel...I’m surprised at the lack of a running thread in here.....hmm.
I thought as much about Clooney. God bless the Haitian people and help them now more than ever.

I saw maybe 2 minutes of it. Long enough to notice that the self-proclaimed hero of “the American worker”, Springsteen, is using a Jap guitar. A lot of these guys don’t pay for their guitars anyway, but get them as part of their “endorsement deals”. Maybe Takamine gave him a better deal than any of the American companies would offer? He’s probably correct, though, in thinking that most of his fans are too stupid to notice his little, ah, “inconsistency”.
