Liberal talk radio network Air America shut down for good yesterday ringing yet another death knell to progressivism in America. The majority of the people in the United States no longer support the policies of President Obama who ran in the center and governs from left of Castro. Scott Brown swept to victory in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts and now finally the realization that absolutely no one was listening has closed Air America. The people are talking now.

Too bad it could not have swept away Randi Rhodes and Ed Schultz. They need to go.
If a liberal radio network shuts down and nobody is listening dose it make any sound? Does it make any difference? Because it sure as heck never made any sense or money.
The Dems never needed Air America.......... they have NPR
they failed due to their rabid hatred and vile language and name calling.
it is one thing pointing out issues with humor it is another thing pointing out issues with name calling, race baiting and FU all the time.
I’ve listened to some liberal progressive radio and they are full of hatred and seem to be foaming at he mouth all the time.
Conservative talk radio points out issues like Rush and he might have some fun but he doesn’;t go off the deep end like the left does
What a great week! Brown elected in Mass, McCain-Feigold eviscerated by the Supremes, and Air America down the toilet. Things are definitely looking up.
it's their own hatred which turned viewers and listeners off.
just watch MSNBC for 10 mins on their shows, it's like they have nothing but hate on every word and they think that by using name calling is giving laughs .
Take kirsten powers who puts a point forward and in a civilised way, I have no problem with that unlike how ED or Matthews does his points
Its destructive seeds having been sent as far away as the Senate, the Air America weed has served its purpose and now dies.
Kinda makes me wonder who their last 3 or 4 diehard advertisers were. The last few who finally decided it just wasn’t cost effective anymore to run ads on their stations.
The Dems never needed Air America.......... they have NPR
Good point, the only way a progressive news outlet stays alive is with government support.
Speaking of which, I’m convinced MSNBC’s lurch for left-of-center to far-left, propaganda machine had something to do with GE (their parent company) getting money (or promises of money) from Obama and the Democrats. It made no business sense (as their ratings have goin in the toilet).
**The Dems never needed Air America.......... they have NPR**
And ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,CNBC,MSNBC,NYTIMES, LATIMES, WASHPOST, etc
The demise of MSNBC would make this even sweeter.
His closing comments, nearly in tears about the Supreme Court decision was whining at its worst. He is delusional and needs to be confined for his own good. He should be kept away from power tools and anything with a sharp point.
When he segued into Rachael Maddow's show, the likes of whose looks I last saw immediately following the Assassination of JFK, I had had all I could stomach.
I will only watch again to add to the list of advertisers that I can avoid...like General Motors.
Au contraire. We need to give him a thousand dollar Craftsman gift card.
It’s fun watching them fail miserably.
Can’t wait for November.
The Leftist station in my area and many liberal talk radio stations accross the country are barely affected by this. Air America is a shadow of its former self. In my neck of the woods, the Seattle station AM 1090 looses only Mike Reagan. All the other moonbat hoast are not affiliated with Air America. the good news is many of these stations are hurting financially and many will fall to the wayside with continuiing falling ratings.
Progressivism has no gravity it just sucks.
