Democrats May Be Enjoying the Security of Voting Machine Fraud
Obama Information ^ | January 11, 2009 | junebug

John Charlton reported three weeks ago that, “… Obama made his first official move to corrupt and undermine the 2010 elections… The move consisted in the little noticed appointment of a technical adviser ,Edwin B. Smith, III, to the Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC) of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).”

Smith is known to have been the vice president of manufacturing, compliance, quality and certification at Sequoia Voting Systems, which is a company that makes voting machines, and it has been at the center of infamous voting irregularities in different elections across the country.

Sequoia has secured the voting machine market in 17 states (including Nevada) and the District of Columbia, and as we follow the money, Sequoia and executives contributed $18,500 to Democrats and only $3,500 to Republicans since 2001.

How are Sequoia voting machines fudged? As we look at Sequoia’s own product bulletin the problems with running the machines themselves in the past have allowed the “Party Turnout Totals section of the Results Report may be misreported whereby turnout associated with the party or option switch choice is misallocated.” The solution requires a re-configuring of the machine by a poll worker. If this re-configuration is not done, then the machine will continue to produce the wrong counts on Party Turnout Totals giving a huge advantage to one party over the other(s). Plain and simple.

An example of the use of Sequoia machines to manipulate vote-counts happened when “… a month of primary recounts in the election battleground of Palm Beach County, Florida, has twice flipped the winner in a local judicial race and revealed grave problems … including … vote tabulation machines that are literally unable to produce the same results twice … More important, it’s also uncovered perplexing problems in some of the county’s high-speed optical-scan tabulation machines, made by Sequoia Voting Systems. The machines flunked reliability tests prompted by the recount — producing different results for the same batch of ballots.”

This article went on to say:

Neither Palm Beach County officials nor Florida’s secretary of state have responded to several calls for comment. Sequoia Voting Systems also has not responded to a call to explain why some of its high-speed machines rejected legitimate ballots. Sequoia has likely been preoccupied with another issue involving its optical-scan machines in Washington, D.C., where hearings are being held to examine why a Sequoia system mysteriously added 1,500 phantom write-in votes to the Sept. 9 primary election totals in one precinct and calculated a total of 4,759 votes cast in the precinct where only 326 were actually cast…

And …

In 2004 in Napa County, California, an optical-scan machine made by Sequoia failed to count more than 6,000 votes, because the Sequoia employee who set up the machine failed to calibrate it to read certain kinds of pens that voters used to mark their ballots.

As we continue to follow the money, Sequoia contributed $100,000 in support of Proposition 41 in California, which was to secure a $200 million bond to purchase direct-recording-electronic voting systems (DRE’s).

In 2003, Nevada purchased Sequoia voting machines for the entire state with Clark County (where Las Vegas lies) election chief Kathryn Ferguson as Sequoia’s lobbyist. Sequoia still has the state of Nevada secured as a customer. Could this be why Harry Reid is fearless of low poll numbers?

Sequoia, of course, has its grubby hands in the future of the voting machine market such that at an August 2004 presentation demonstrating the voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) machine, the “Sequoia machine before California lawmakers failed to accurately reflect in the printed record votes cast in Spanish on the DRE, proving that while a printed record may provide insurance against human corruption, it does not prevent computer error from producing equal havoc.”

Finally, there are investigations into whether or not Sequoia is tied to Hugo Chavez, but there are many articles that defend Sequoia on this allegation. However, Sequoia is now owned by Smartmatic such that “With a windfall of some $120 million from its first three contracts with Venezuela, Smartmatic then bought the much larger and more established Sequoia Voting Systems…”

The sure thing in all this is that Sequoia is certainly sophisticated enough to invent various ways for fraud to take place because there seem to be ways that numbers can be manipulated on several, if not, all kinds of machine that they make, and this includes the voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT). Taking all this into account, voting machine fraud may be the reason Harry Reid and the Democrats are fearless of low poll numbers. Maybe. Let's pray that all it DOESN'T mean Reid will be re-elected. We’ll just have to see if Edwin B. Smith III was actually hired to pull his magic for them.

I'm just trying to gather and point out some of the information that's out there right now on this topic, so that if he DOES win despite such low poll numbers, we have something to look into.

Obama made his first official move to corrupt and undermine the 2010 elections

There are two other methods socialists will try to use to corrupt the voting process.

What the Dems know that we don't: Universal Voter Registration

Soros Eyes Secretaries

Oh, please, let’s not do this! Our own version of the “Diebold conspiracy” is NOT what we need for credibility in the eyes of the public.

if you think there have been big voter frauds before, just wait a couple of weeks until the senatorial special election in Massachusetts. The Democrats will perpitrate every fraud possible to keep the seat Democrat. They will lie; they will rig voting machines; they will stuff ballot boxes; they will double and triple vote, etc...they will do anything and everything disgraceful, dishonest, and deceitful to win.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I have always been against computer voting. There are just too many opportunities for mischief.

And...I am **really** ticked with the Republicans and their lack of attention while Bush was president to correct some of the worse abuses.

Here's the problem with that. The Republicans haven't exactly been angels, but for every dollar that a Republican corrupts, the Democrat will multiply that by 5 as Obama/Reid/Pelosi are doing. So, if we hide it, we help them. Would you rather have that? I think we need to clean out the system of corruption on BOTH sides so that the Democrats don't get a free ride on everything like they're doing now. If there are Republicans who are corrupt, get rid of them. If there are Democrats who are corrupt, get rid of them too. NOBODY gets a free ticket, or they're gone! I think the general public would agree with that, and that's how we can win in the end. That's just how I see it.

ALL Sequoia/SmartMatic machines are programed by Bitza. ALL of their machines with Bitza software can be RIGGED! (Just like they were for Hugo Chavez!)

No need to rig voting machines in Washington State. Everything is vote by mail.

So all the fraudsters have to do is issue two ballots and two US 43cent stamps to their "Preferred Voters"....no fuss, no muss, no trail.

Our Governor was elected twice because "boxes of misplaced ballots" were found during the recount.
