Could this actually be the greatest and potentially the deadliest of Obama’s screw ups so far?

I missed the implications of this up front and I bet you all did too, but I am hearing from members of the American intelligence community and some on the outside closely connected to those on the inside who are raising a huge red flag right now.

It appears Barack Obama inexperience and amateurishness has just started bonfires on the bridges connecting him to the American intelligence community and delivered a huge, HUGE psychological win to Al Qaeda.

People tell me the President’s rush to acknowledge the attack on the CIA in Afghanistan and mourn the deaths openly, publicly, and via press release is a huge no no. The CIA and greater intelligence community would prefer not to have the attention put on them. Additionally, because the President took the time to draft a blanket statement focused on the CIA in general instead of individually and more privately focusing on the families of the victims, it acknowledges the CIA’s work in Afghanistan, acknowledges that the attack has an impact on the CIA, and gives the terrorists a new recruiting tool — “you too can cause America to publicly mourn the loss of their spies.”

To you and me this may not seem like a big deal. But I’m told this is hugely significant and shows just how out of touch the Obama administration is with the intelligence community. I’m told that no other President has issued such blanket statements of public mourning directed toward an attack on the CIA and thereby having the White House itself confirming an attack on our intelligence community.

The intelligence community is licking its wounds right now and Obama’s rush to confirm for the world that the community suffered such wounds has the intelligence community simmering tonight and Al Qaeda preparing a PR blitz with what they view as good news.

UPDATED: Take the information above and couple it with this. The White House is subtly blaming the intelligence community for the failure to deduce the Delta/Northwest attack.

Why?

Because the President is worried about being blamed, the White House is trying to blame the CIA while at the same time undermining the CIA through a rush to publicize the Afghan attack.

Either this White House is willfully trying to sabotage the intelligence community or they are rank amateurs. I pray to God in Heaven it is the latter.

Obama signs away your legal protections ( 0s JIHAD ON AMERICA?)

With the signing of an under-publicized amendment to Executive Order 12425, Barack Obama has fundamentally altered your constitutional rights. His actions are undermining your rights to protect personal privacy from a foreign internationalist police agency named Interpol. A one-paragraph executive order may seem inconsequential to many, but this action has far-reaching implications and threatens the sovereignty of America.

Obama’s secretive executive order amended an order issued by President Reagan in 1983. Reagan’s order recognized Interpol as an international organization and gave it privileges and immunities commonly extended to foreign diplomats. Reagan opened the door to allow Interpol to operate in partnership with the U.S. but with significant constitutional safeguards. Specifically, Interpol’s property and assets remained subject to search and seizure by American law enforcement, and its archived records remained subject to public scrutiny under provisions of the Freedom of Information Act

I agree. No one is that stupid. This is intentional and we will pay the price. Time for the whole bunch to be “frog marched”. Too bad no one has the guts to do it.

If Condi Rice were still in her office the press wold be screaming for her to be fired. Madam Clinton - it's all good...

You bring up some valid observations and we still have a minimum of three long years to go.

Well, yes, he’s a brilliant Marxist...but I am totally speaking to his mental instability. He’s crazy, loonier than a moonbat, on the far out edge of psychopathic and sociopathic.

0b0z0 like Jimmy Carter wants to deball the good people of the CIA.

Carter was more direct about it, and 0b0z0 pretends to be friends of the good CIA people.

This incident may trigger dumping of data on 0b0z0 and his unvetted thugs with foreign intel agencies. Data that 0b0z0 amd his unvetted thugs don’t want out in the open.

Of course the American left wing mediots will bury and spike any of these realities when the foreign media releases them.

Family elated to welcome home Ft. Hood massacre survivor
Comments

January 2, 2010
SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE

The massacre at Fort Hood in Texas in November replays in his mind over and over.

A gunman shouts in Arabic. Shots ring out. Then intense pain — bullets tore through his left knee and other parts of his body — and loud screams.

“It was surreal, just mass chaos,’’ Army Pvt. 1st Class Najee Hull recalled last week. “Pain and people screaming. It replays in my mind over and over. I remember everything. . . . It’s starting to mess with me.”

For the first time since the shooting, Hull was able to return to his home in Homewood two weeks ago — to spend Christmas with his family.

But he can’t stop thinking about the events Nov. 5 at Darnall Army Medical Center, which is a part of Fort Hood — where Hull, 20, was stationed.

Military authorities say a U.S. Army psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, walked into the center, shouted “Allahu Akbar” or “God is greatest,” then targeted uniformed soldiers by firing more than 100 times with a semiautomatic pistol and a revolver. He allegedly killed 13 people and wounded 30.

Hasan was tackled as he paused to reload. Hasan, who remains hospitalized, is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted murder.

Hull was prepping for a medical review ahead of his planned deployment to Afghanistan when the shooting began. The medical center was teeming with soldiers and civilians, including a group of nearly 600 gathered for an afternoon graduation ceremony. Hull was the first person hit in the massacre.

“He said some terrorist things, some Allah things, then just started shooting,” Hull said.

“I do ask myself sometimes, ‘Why me?’ Of all the places to be that day, I had to be there.”

While Hull said he’s thrilled to be surrounded by doting friends and family members in Homewood, he struggles to accept that a member of the military turned on his comrades — on a U.S. base — and opened fire.

“It’s like being betrayed by a family member, like someone in my family shot me,” Hull said. “We die for the same cause, live by the same creed. I’m still kind of angry about it, but I try not to be angry because I’m here and a lot of people aren’t. I know I’m lucky.”

Hull, a 2007 graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School, has undergone three surgeries. One bullet destroyed his spleen, which was removed, but fragments of bullets remain lodged in his chest and knee.

“At Christmas, the whole time I kept thinking, I might have missed this. If that bullet would hit two inches higher or two inches lower, I might never have seen my family again, and I love my family,” Hull said.

Hull lives with his mother, Yvonne, who works for the U.S. Postal Service, and sisters Nanette Hull, 34, and Nala Pearson, 13. He also has an older brother, Nathaniel Hull, 31.

The family was elated to finally welcome Najee home after he spent more than a month recovering at the base, Yvonne, a single mom, said.

“Christmas was truly Christmas, a celebration. We may have a sparse tree and sparse gifts, but you know we got our gift early, and we’re at peace,” Yvonne said. “Words cannot describe how thankful we are.”

Hull, a mechanic, is part of the 36th Engineer Brigade, which will deploy this month to Afghanistan — but without him. He’ll return to Fort Hood on Friday.

“I love the Army. I love my buddies. I feel bad I won’t be with them,” said Hull, struggling to remain composed. “I have a lot of soul-searching to do. I really don’t know what’s next for me.

He is wicked and malevolent, but not yet insane. Don’t mistake calculated acts with diversionary covers for insanity. That comes later, after being exposed as malevolent and purposely wicked with no cover to divert from the truth. If the enemedia never turns on this affirmative action bastard-in-chief, he will remain covered. The fifth column media don’t show any signs of truning on their little self-proclaimed half-black messiah.

NO ONE is asking anything about the State Department. Doesn’t that seem a little bizarre to you?

Yes, it does. What about the director of the CIA, Leon Panetta? No questions for him either. What about the head of the FBI? Whoever that is.

I strongly support your analysis of the former. The zero team have their agendas. And it would be hard to avoid thinking it does not include subjugating the Intel agencies as well as the military to their will. They want total control.

One would expect it to be Leon Panetta’s job to direct the CIC to avoid blunders.

Panetta has some executive experience, under Clinton.

I think he will resign or get fired soon, along with Napoligono.

But I thought that BamKennedy was what everyone wanted after the 8 years of Bush/Cheney. There were leaks galore out of the CIA during those years. Early on it was some former ambassador Joe Wilson who put pen to paper that delivered a thousand cuts to the Bush administration.

Too many stories that I have read right here on FR point to the infiltration of the Pentagon and security agencies, both foreign and domestic, by the Muslims.

PC is killing us.

Islam is a threatening ideology, just as communism is.

The Beltway culture encourages this need to be accepted and loved, consequently, principled positions get watered down.

Wahington, D.C. is the new Rome, and it is rotten to the core.
