Why do left wing radicals denounce intolerance unless it’s against something they support? How come it’s acceptable to dehumanize only certain people, beliefs and organizations?
Just recently radio talk show commentator Rush Limbaugh was rushed to the hospital for chest pains. As I searched for news regarding his condition, I was appalled by the comments posted by other readers. The venomous words used to express their distain for his existence were simply horrific. Although disturbed by what I read it certainly comes as no surprise as it seems Conservative bashing has become widely accepted by the Left.
Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman and Ann Coulter are prime examples and targets of liberal attacks; however when Bill O’Rielly commented about Helen Thomas you would have thought he had insulted Mother Theresa. The double standard of what is considered humorous and objective is extremely skewed. In fact, most are just down right mean spirited and foul. In order to be fair and objective, I also take issue when conservatives engage in these practices.
I wish that the very same people that seek to destroy Glenn Beck would have the same passion for destroying Osama Bin Laden. I would like to hear the same people that say Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers are activists agree that Sean Hannity and Mark Levin are commentators not messengers of hate. It would be nice to have these people be as irate when Michelle Malkin is attacked, as they are when Hillary Clinton is criticized. Ultimately I would love to believe the Obama Administration is as passionate about fighting terrorism and enforcing the Patriot Act as they are in eliminating Fox News and supporting the Fairness Doctrine. Once again I must admit none of these will ever happen even though this is change I can believe in.

No, I don’t know who Darkwing is and quite frankly it is of no consequence. I only fear one entity and he’s not earthbound and I’m sure Darkwing gets tired of your false alarms. Again, tell him I said hi.
Not true. There's never a perfect symmetry. There is more hate on the left, and there's a reason for it, namely that the left is out to create heaven on earth. When you're out to create heaven on earth, you're entitled to hate those who oppose you. In fact, it would be a sin not to. So they hate. They are full of hate in a way that the right simply is not.
Pinging Darkwing sets a very developed plan of action into effect. My nodes tingle just thinking about it.

Exactly, tard policies and actions are gonna get us all killed, pretty hard not to hate them for that. Cold comfort to me that, they will kill themselves too.
It’s not quantifiable but it’s true. Even the left knows it’s true on some level. They are full of righteous hatred. That’s why they accuse us of hatred so often (in fact pretty much constantly).
Just one example of the difference between left and right: David Horowitz talks about how he was treated when he switched sides and became a conservative. His friends on the left, all the people had known for years, immediately “unpersoned” him. He was instantly, thoroughly, and viciously ostracized. He looked at rightwingers who had similarly defected to the left and found they were not treated nearly as badly. He goes into detail about this in his bio, Radical Son.
And here’s another, totally unscientific but I think pretty telling. Try googling the keywords “hope Clinton burns in hell” and “hope Bush burns in hell” and compare the number of hits. It’s interesting.
Another one — Jay Nordlinger has an interesting observation that he mentions from time to time about leftist audiences. They do something that no other group does: they hiss. They literally hiss their disapproval. Not a huge deal, but it indicates something. And look how leftists treat conservatives when they speak at universities. They shout them down and literally throw things at them. Does the right do that? Nope.
