LubbockDuring a dinner on Thursday night, December 31, 2009, the Texas Tech Alumni are having their annual awards ceremony banquet and New Years Eve bash. This year theyve decided to add another category for the awards presentations. The category in question is the Biggest Wussy Category. The Biggest Wussy Category was created to determine which ballplayer should have a sex change; thereby becoming a girl.
Each category includes a vote by a committee upon the name entered into the category. In the past, some of the categories have included, The Toughest Player, The Smartest Player, and Most Outstanding Player. In past years, the vote has been close, but this year for the Biggest Wussy Category, the vote wasnt even close. Adam James name was a unanimous vote in the wake of his whining, and in Texas Tech Universitys firing of Coach Mike Leach.

That'd be Lazamataz who wrote that fine piece of comedy. But thank you for the nice comments on the blog.
Re: “shed”
Room #1 (espn “shed”) - looks like a 20x40 or 25x50 room
Room #2 (espn “wire closet”) - nice media room for visiting coaches
I say the kid, and his dad, are spoiled brats.
I also believe ESPN should have muzzled Craig James on the air tonight at the Nebraska-Arizona game unless they could get a live interview with Leach. Allowing Craig to spout off was clearly biased ...
video link clearly showing the rooms can be found at http://www.kcbd.com/Global/category.asp?C=180515
Is Craig James calling the Nebraska game?
Yes. I turned it off after his pontificating speech.
I'm aware of it all.......
Have you been locked in a shed?
Huh? What conclusion did I jump to?
Yeah, I was just watching the halftime show. Mark May and Lou Holtz have him convicted and walking to the gallows now. The whole ESPN reporting on this is BS.
The article I read claimed the coach punished him for missing practice. James was complaining about lingering headaches from a concussion he suffered not too long ago. The coach put him in a dark electrical closet when James told him the light was bothering him.
I think rintense meant to post that to kittykat77.
I agree. His daddy is full of BS too.
By the way, Craig James is a solid conservative and was at our local tea party with his son, Adam. They have lived in our very small town for the past 7 or 8 years and are very nice, down-to-earth people. I don’t know the whole story but having a little ‘local’ knowledge of Leach (not from ESPN or the James family) and of Craig James, I wouldn’t necessarily automatically believe everything Leach’s attorney says.
No, but I had my lollipop taken away as a boy, and since I've been scarred emotionally for the rest of my life. And they should fire Mike Leach for that too. LOL!
I hope so! My comment to Kitty was tongue in cheek, I know perfectly well what is going on and how the coach is being railroaded........
You must have heard that straight from Craig James and the ESPN spin machine.
I’m sure they’re very nice people, but I don’t believe anyone completely. I’m just having a little fun. The coverage just seems a little one sided by ESPN, considering there are other things not being reported. It’s typical of reporting.
Could we award a Golden Douchebag to Myers? :-)
I'll summarize: Slacker, entitled Adam James, son of former Patriot and now ESPN's Craig James, had been admonished several times by staff for dogging it. After receiving a slight concussion, James, who has a history of 'injuries' that suddenly heal in time to play on Saturday, showed up to practice wearing designer sunglasses crying that it was too bright for him. So, with doctor approval and the supervision of trainers, Leach put James in a cool, dark equipment storage area- the size of a garage, with running water and fans- not too far from the practice field. Pansy James cried to helicopter daddy (meaning daddy was always hovering over practice and trying to get his undeserving son more playing time), and daddy went to the higher ups. Using ESPN as his platform, Craig James played all innocent by saying they were concerned about their son's concussion. What ESPN did report is that Adam James asked to be released from his scholarship so he could go play at SMU. Leach said no. James was also accepted on the team by Leach, at the protest of his coordinators who believe James didn't have what it took to play D-1 BALL. ESPN has also failed to report that numerous coaches, assistants, former players, etc. have revealed that Adam James was a trouble kid, not a team player, dogged it at practice and used his name as an entitlement to play.
We could.
I did see the room, and you’ll enjoy this ping!
