O'Blowhard would be the first one I'd kick out of a Tea Party. *Do I need to remind anyone of what he said about FreeRepublic?*

I’m voting for a conservative republican. He just doesn’t happen to be the one the NRCC imported to run. I will vote against that manipulation period. The opinions of party lap dogs are meaningless.

...now THAT is something I entirely agree with...each state must be fired up to fight for true conservative candidates in the upcoming primaries next year...party lap dogs are as bad, if not worse, as RINOs in office. We must all get true conservatives to run in the primary races and get behind only those candidates that we can believe in and count on.

A Tea PARTY is exactly what the Marxist, including B.O., would love to see. Split the conservative vote down the middle and assure victory for the Commies.

What Obama needs it a GOP dominated by moderate RINOs with Conservatives shoved to the side, and that's exactly what he's currently got and that's why he's in office.

Hope not- the party needs someone competent- not some bloviating windbag inlove with himself

If you cannot get Conservatives/Libertarians organized enough to take back the GOP which all ready agrees with most of the Tea Party platform, what insanity makes you think you can do the much more difficult work it takes to organize a viable political movement?

Because a new movement doesn't have to deal with the entrenched big-money moderate RINOs.

We can spend years and years and and waste money on elections trying to make the GOP conservative or we can start with an organization that's conservative from the start.

A vote for a liberal with an (R) next to their name is still a vote for a liberal, and we can continue electing liberals with (R) next to their name for years to come as we try and retake the GOP or we can vote for conservatives starting next year.

I have my doubts about how things are going to be over the next few years, but I do know I'm no longer supporting the GOP in its current moderate state. Read Jim Robinson's thread on Conservatives if you want to know more.

The so called ‘Leadership’ of the GOP - the Republican Establishment (mostly RINOs) just need to step aside. And this includes the entire RNC. Then let the amalgamation of the Tea Party groups form a new Republican Party from within.

But - alas it is wishful thinking. The only way the ‘leadership’ of the Republican Party will step aside is to be pushed aside or made to be irrelevant. Thus the Threat of a Third Party is a useful tool.

Whining about Third Parties and what they may do to cause a Democrat win - is totally useless and a waste of time... Most of us WILL NOT EVER AGAIN vote for a RINO - moderate - liberal - a non conservative - no matter the consequences. The GOP has but one choice - Give it up to the new wave of Tea Party organizers and followers...

Recent polls show that more people would vote for Tea Party candidates than Democrats and Republicans (note Republicans came in last).

If the GOP (as it now stands) wishes for the talk of a Third Party (Tea Party) to go away - then they must give up the reigns - stop pushing ‘diversity’ and stop the silly talk of the ‘big tent’ - embrace fully and openly the Tea Party Principles.

Conservatives can only win by pushing the Basic Principles - the core philosophy of Conservatism. The current GOP ‘leadership’ has moved far away from basic conservative principles and bathes themselves in the Democrat Lite malarkey.

The vast majority of the Tea Party followers come closer to being true Conservatives than those who claim to be GOP Leaders.

BTW - BOR does not understand or appreciate any comment made on this thread... BOR is just a classic ‘talking head’ that pretends to understand the issues when he is actually mostly clueless.

Why should we keep supporting liberals with (R) next to their names?

If you vote or donate to the GOP in its current state, all you are doing is reinforcing and rewarding its moves to the left.

I would go so far as to say that true Conservatives are the RINOs these days since it's pretty clear that moderate Republicans outnumber conservative Republicans.

Yep. They’ve seen the poll numbers, and the politicos and MSM are trying to co-opt the movement. Nice try, planting this in an Irish paper and counting on internet circulation.

I am convinced that he does little homework and has his information spoonfed by his producers. He talks in generalities, and when questioned by people more informed than he is, generally changes the subject — and quickly.

BOR wants to present himself as a know-it-all, but doesn't allow himself to be teachable.

When he has a knowledgable guest who could inform him more about the topics at hand, he becomes indignant and insulting, defending his uninformed opinion, rather than allowing the guest to enlighten him as well as the viewing public.

We shouldn't, who said we should?

I send money directly to the conservative candiate, and you should start doing the same.

Huh? Are you saying I'm sending money directly to RINOs?

Bill O’Reilly is a commentator. Nothing more. Let him remain in that role.

Glenn Beck, on the other hand, should run for President with Sarah Palin as his veep.

BOR is now jumping on the Tea Party bandwagon after seeing that it would outpoll both Democrats and Republicans in the next election.

This guy is a transparent, pompous idiot. I don’t want him near anything “Tea Party” oriented.

And, he HATES Free Republic!

How about Founding Fathers and Mothers 2012.
Forget the word Party because this is not a fun time.
Forget O’Reilly he is useless and an embarrasment.
And, be on the alert for dishonest people in the media.
Of all things done to this country it’s the media that
has misled so many Americans. I for one, don’t want this
to happen again. Truth and Facts only - that’s what I want
to see.
