I may catch some flak for this, but Im prepared. While I very much like Sarah Palin and what she represents, I do believe she made a serious error when answering a question concerning the issue of Barack Obamas birth certificate.

I love you too.
Bingo.
Let’s not forget, the left questioned John McCain’s eligibility, as he was born in a hospital, in Colon, Panama, which was not on an American Base.
He would have been ineligible as well.
er only moron who spend way too much around politicians think its a mistake. That somehow certain topic should be off topic and that one should never respodn to certain questions
Damn dude is afraid of riots in the streets so let the 'unknown truth' be covered up. Glad the guys back in the old days weren't afraid of a little rioting with England. How about the riot the Southern states did about their right to seceed or maybe a few local uprisings trying to get change. Yep this dude is willing to roll over and supply the lubricant for a good, well whatever he enjoys.
She was asked a question. She responded to that question, expressing her feelings on the matter. To have refused to answer would have left her wide open to charges of dodging the tough questions. To have responded with anything other than an honest expression of her stand on the issue would have opened her to having to remember the next time she’s asked how she responded this time. That’s a recipe for trouble.
IMHO, she handled it just fine.
But then, I’m one of those for whom she will have to do something pretty dastardly for me to stop backing her! She could come out tomorrow for complete and total, no-questions-asked, amnesty for illegals and I would still be supporting her. I would hate the stand, but I would still see her as superior to anyone else out there right now.
McCain couldn’t raise the issue as he was born in a hospital, in Colon, Panama, which not on an American Base.
He too is ineligible.
Coincidence? Sure.
I thought that had been all cleared up.
(No matter to me-I couldn’t stand McCain for many years now—I cringed in 2000 when they talked him up.)
Actually McCain was born at the base hospital. His mother wrote about the experience. Sorry that I don’t have a link to it.
Barry O. tried to pass of something that was inconsistent with what the rest of have and know to be a Birth Certificate.
The so called COLB has many flaws with it:
The best part and even more confusing is why he didn't release any of the three Birth Certificates we know already existed before 2007.
Those were most certainly BCs and not a COLB. There is no reason to create confusion but, for the fact he is hiding something. That something will be discovered, though and this is a long process. I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school. Its a short piece, with a photograph of him. No mention is made of my mother or me, and Im left to wonder whether the omission was intentional on my fathers part, in anticipation of his long departure. Perhaps the reporter failed to ask personal questions, intimidated by my fathers imperious manner; or perhaps it was an editorial decision, not part of the simple story that they were looking for. I wonder, too, whether the omission caused a fight between my parents. From Dreams From My Father (Pg. 26 last paragraph) So with all these Birth Certificates lying around, why did he feel it necessary to produce a "Certification of Live Birth" that is inconsistent with a Birth Certificate and wholly lacking all of the information you would find, in you know, a Birth Certificate? He seemed to have some emotional attachment to the Birth Certificate found among his mothers belongings. Why wouldnt he just slap that one up, for all the world to see? It seemed important that he found a document that is called a Birth Certificate and it is highly unlikely he would not know what one looks like.
Hope no one brings up some house fire that vaporized his BC. That was in 1972 and none of the documents listed here would have been affected by that fishy event.
‘will cause riots’ is not a valid reason to ignore the issue.
I don’t favor cowardice over constitutional rule of law. If he’s not eligible, he should be legally removed whatever the consequence.
From the article:
“even if the birth certificate issue was legitimate, getting him removed from office for that reason would make him a victim in the eyes of many.”
The victims are the legitimate Americans who expect, make it “demand” that the Constitution be observed. As Washington so aptly said, “The Constitution is sacredly obligatory on all”.
As for the trash who threatens rioting if Obama were to be removed, they are easily controlled.
To continue, also from the article:
“It would be portrayed as undoing the election based on a technicality.”
The Constitution is hardly a “technicality”. The Constitution is what defines us, what makes us unique among all nations that are or have ever been.
Now, it is time to address the sedition and the treason inherent in the article’s argument. Underlying the whine of the article is the author’s cowardly fear of the communism inspired rabble rioting in his urban habitat:
“There would be rioting in the streets and likely calls for a constitutional convention.”
Such riots could easily be dealt with, assuming they ever reached any significant size. Urban black criminals, Black Muslims and illegals from Mexico are concentrated in a few urban areas where they are easily isolated and controlled.
Unlike the author, I believe that the large majority of people in America would not tolerate rioting were Obama to be discovered to be illegally elected to office.
“The Constitution is sacredly obligatory on all”.
Most in America do believe this. They can easily deal with those who don’t.
It has. He was born on base. There was a small hospital there.
Anyone in a high profile public position like Sarah needs to be ready when this "birther" question is asked in interviews. As it stands today the "birthers" are made out to be the "crazies" just for wanting the questioned answer to his hospital of birth. They need to turn it back onto the person doing the interview with a simple question:
Do you know what hospital Barack Hussein Obama was born in? Neither do I. That's because Barack Obama refuses to release his birth document that tells us what hospital he was born in! He is ashamed of his birth record for some reason.
So who is the crazy person here? Is it the person that wants to know what hospital the president was born in or the president that refuses to release that information?
At least she didn't answer that we were all nut cases like every other so-called Conservative republican has to date. Oh yeah... and screw romney, huckster and pawprints.

ooooh, what you said.....
