I thought that had been all cleared up.
(No matter to me-I couldn’t stand McCain for many years now—I cringed in 2000 when they talked him up.)
Yep, it sure was cleared up:
WASHINGTON (Thursday, April 10, 2008) Sens. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) and Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) today introduced a resolution expressing the sense of the U.S. Senate that presidential candidate and current Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) is a natural born Citizen, as specified in the Constitution and eligible to run for President.
Which passed as resolution and had NO weight of law whatsoever:
Passed Senate without amendment. (This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) States that John Sidney McCain, III, is a "natural born Citizen" under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States.
