Famed domestic diva Martha Stewart took a few minutes off from her quest to beautify American households to broadcast a warning that we should all beware of Sarah Palin.
Ms. Palin doesnt know diddly about home décor, Stewart asserted. Why, she even has animal hides in her living room. And she boasts about killing them herself. Its no way for a civilized person to live.
Stewart went on to label Palins autobiography boring. How could it be otherwise? Stewart rhetorically asked. Does it have decorating tips? Does it have recipes? No, its just the typical right wing blather about freedom. What good is freedom if its wasted on the kind of life shes led?
Although she admitted she hadnt read Palins book and vowed that she couldnt be paid enough to do so, Stewart contended that the throngs of mindless fans slavishly hanging on Palins every word represent a real danger to this country. Yes, Sarah Palin is a dangerous person and we can only hope that President Obama will take steps to save America from her baleful influence.

Martha - do us all a favor and go back to your jail cell.
ROTFLMAO ...but tastefully;)
Sarah still has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...they almost literally froth at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her, and only further discredit themselves in the process.
"We face challenging times with some hell-bent on tearing down our nation by perpetuating pessimism and apologizing for America. They suggest that our best days were yesterdays. But how can this pessimism exist? Proof of our greatness and pride is all around us today. We produce proud and great volunteers who sacrifice everything for their country.
"We can resist enslavement to big central government that crushes hope and opportunity. We must be wary of government largesse. It doesnt come free and often accepting it takes away everything that is free. Melting into Washingtons powerful and caretaking arms will only lead to suck away the incentive to work hard and chart our own course. This will only contribute to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, and it will make us less free.
"See, in order to be self-sufficient (we) must be allowed to develop, to drill and build and climb to fulfill our promise! We can not start believing that government is the answer. It cant make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is Gods grace helping those who help themselves." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009
Since when is “dangerous” synonymous with “boring”? Unless you live the sedentary life of a tv crockpot chef and former jailbird and just "accept" the risks of your arteries clogging.
Martha Stewart is a pompous ass. She even ragged on Rachel Ray for not having a garden. Looks like menopause has made Miss Martha even meaner.
Stewart actually said those quoted things? Really amazing — the nerve — what an a**hole!!!!
linky no worky
Nice work as always John, although I was hoping it would be "John" Stewart instead. I stumbled across The Daily Show the other night and watched agog at his "interview" with Vice President Mongo. Even with my tremendously low expectations, the garbage Slow Joe spewed totally unchallenged was an embarrassment.
Anyways, about not reading the book, I found the reviews on Amazon hilarious, how many who slammed the book admitted they hadn't read it. What's the point in facts, information, and candor when it flies in the face of your argument?
LOL The boorish calling Palin boring?
Good one John!
Lookit all the silly FReepers who don’t know satire when they see it!
It’s satire, folks.
Apparently people are missing the “satire” angle on this story.
Now that's funny, John.
Careful Martha, looking down your nose will cross your eyes. A more snobbish commentary I have never read.
Martha Stewart approves of Obama because of the picture of him putting up curtains.
Texmex is best takes out two sheets of Japanese rice paper that he has laying around and folds them into two origamist shapes......He puts them on the Louis Quinze coffee table and turns it about for Miss Stewart to view and she asks:
FU?
great satire as always!
If she’s so boring, why are you talking about her? Don’t truly dangerous people get your attention?
