You know things are going seriously wrong for the Obama administrations ultra-liberal agenda when even The Washington Post begins to question it. Heres a quote from a rather good piece by Joel Achenbach, a senior staff writer for the Post, in yesterdays front page story on Barack Obamas slow, Spock-like decision-making process:
With multiple crises on his docket, the president has much to contemplate as he enters the holiday season. The economy has shown signs of growth and the stock market is up, but its a jobless recovery, unemployment is at the highest rate since he was in college, and there are fears of a double-dip recession. The dollar is down. The national debt is oceanic. Obamas health-care plan is imperiled by the whims of a handful of lawmakers. His approval rating has dipped below 50 percent. Even once-Obama-friendly Saturday Night Live has taken to mocking him as a do-nothing president. This follows historical patterns: New presidents always experience a drop in popularity as the romance of the campaign trail gives way to the mundane bill-paying and grocery shopping of governance.
The Washington Post is traditionally viewed as the favoured newspaper of choice with Democratic administrations. But its news coverage of Barack Obamas lacklustre performance, especially on foreign policy and economic issues, is increasingly showcasing some strong doubts on both sides of the political aisle over the presidents leadership.
The Post remains a largely left-leaning publication (with a couple of conservative columnists), and I almost always disagree with its editorial line. But as Achenbachs article demonstrates, the White Houses honeymoon with the liberal establishment may well be coming to an end. Its not just Fox News that Obama has to worry about its now also key members of the dominant mainstream media who are beginning to challenge his less

“Spock like?!” That’s an insult to Dr. Spock!
Funny, because when Spock does his V with his hands, he’s referring to the fact that Obama is like Anna From V!
To be “Spock-like” wouldn’t his decisions have to be intelligent and solve the problem in the nick of time?
He says that like it's a Bad Thing.
He’ll be at 35% and sliding by then.
Fairly good piece — especially for the WaPost. But, keep in mind: the libs attribute Obama’s Hamlet-like posture to his “thoughfulness.” We conservatives know that it is because he is a one-dimensional moron who has never risen above his mundane role as a quasi-successful community organizer rallying the ne’er do wells demand tribute from the working class.
The ultra-far-left media has a lot invested in (in their words) "their colored boy". The Left's stereotype of blacks is that they are stupid and incapable of taking care of themselves, so they'll soon be making as many excuses for them as they can.
Spock like?! Thats an insult to Dr. Spock!
And to MR. Spock!
True, and poor senators make disastrous presidents.
You fail to see that the popular pro or con percentage for Obama means little. The government is being run by a far left/Socialist congress and a Marxist president. Neither gives a rats ass what the American public wants. We no longer have a representative government .

I don’t care about the plus minus figures given out by the polls. Whether they’re Dems or GOP they all have built into their DNA a survival meter and they are already distancing themselves from Zero’s policies.
I believe they see the anger on the streets and think if they abandon the ship they can save their careers. I believe it’s too late. Anybody that didn’t win by more than 10% in the last election better start getting their resume up to date. Zero will drag them all down.
That was my first thought as well!
He's like the "dean" of the Senate Democrats, one-dimensional pork-barreler Bobby Byrd.
Obama's black community-organizing one-trick pony act almost perfectly mirrors Byrd's solitary real-world credential before entering the congressional Wonderland: he had actually risen to the rank of "Exalted Cyclops" in the Ku Klux Klan.
Do we get to pick? I want "obliterate" -- that would be justice condign, for the rag that brought us Walter Duranty and Neil Sheehan, and all those gay front-page editors in "Pinchy" Sulzberger's Big Lavender Revolution that turned the Grey Lady into a shrieking diesel.
"Gore-Bull Warming" -- lol. I like that.
We've got it so easy because of men and boys like that. They get hard rock, we get the easy chair.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
