What, they don’t have a room in the White House big enough to contain Obama’s ego?

Maybe the WH banquet hall is not big enough for all the Hollywood celebs the party was really for?
Good pictures, it looks quite pretty, not the circus tent I originally envisioned.
Wish I could spend other people’s money that way!

Will that charge be on my next month’s visa bill or will it just be added to my taxes this year?

White House lawn for what has to be one of the most expensive state dinners of all time? What "most expensive" category does Mr. and Mrs. Zero not own? I think they blew away the most expensive campaign, most expensive inauguration, most expensive clutch, more expensive sneakers, most expensve date, most expensive jeans, and most expensive dress.

Good thing they saved all that money scaling down this year's Hanukkah celebration (ya know, on account of the economy).

Someone on the news said "tents" were traditional for Indian occasions, but even if that's true, so what? Wouldn't the Indian PM and his wife like to see what's traditional for an American president?
This administration is completely incompetent, embarrassing and lacking in any kind of class.

It’s really pathetic how the mainstream media is frying to outdo each other to cover this event. Obama is not the first President to hold a state dinner, and I don’t recall any of past dinners being covered with the fanfare or hoopla that this one has.
In a way, I kinda feel sorry for the Indian Prime Minister and his wife — having to spend an evening with this insufferable jerk.

Looks kind of small to me, and like the tents they have at golf tournaments.

Maybe the tent had to be see-thru so Obama could have a s many pictures taken of him as possible from all different angles. We all know he loves the spotlight.

All that space - and Obama could only invite ONE elected GOP member (Jindal and wife) ...
Oh, yeah - Jindal is of Indian heritage ...
