Crazy Nancy Pelosi: “We Won Last Night” …Lies Twice About NY-23 Race

They lost the Virginia gubanatorial race by 18 points in a state Barack Obama won by 6 points last year. They lost the New Jersey gubanatorial race by 4 points in a state Barack Obama won by 15 points last year.
But, facts don’t matter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi She rejoiced today saying, “We won last night.”
“From our perspective, we won last night,” the California Democrat told reporters during a Wednesday photo op. “We had one race that we were engaged in, it was in northern New York, it was a race where a Republican has held the seat since the Civil War.
And we won that seat. So, from our standpoint, no, a candidate was victorious who supports health care reform, and his remarks last night said this was a victory for health care reform and other initiatives for the American people.”
She’s still ready to ram that nationalized health care bill through the House this week.
UPDATE: 2 lies in 1 statement. As pointed out below. Democrat Bill Owens campaigned against the public option. Pelosi was lying.
And, Democrat Michael R. McNulty represented NY-23 from 1989-1993. But, it sounds better when you say “the first time since the Civil War.”

Why not just say “we had two hard losses, and we are working to understand why”?

I wonder what happened to end taht Dem's term there in 1994? I seem to recall a national policy issue that was on the table back then that a whole lot of Dems lost their seats over....what was it, what was it? I can't seem to remember.
So they only enter races that they won? Um...I’m confused.

As Speaker of the House I’m not sure that she is concerned with anything other than House of Rep elections.

She wasn't lying about them winning the election. But she clearly lied twice in her statement.

This time it is OBAMACARE. Unjustly maligned by a racist cabal.
So if democrats won last night according to Pelosi, then liberals that said we lost the war in Iraq, must really mean that we won the war, or...ah.....some kind of reverse illogic and all that.....

Someone needs to correct his own mistake -- McNulty was the rep for NY-21, not NY-23.
Has marijuana been legalized in California? Nancy must be smoking something to think that yesterday’s elections were a win for Democrats.

I think McNulty represented NY21, south of NY23, for many years, but never the 23rd.
Pelosi should keep telling herself that while she and the congress takes some time off. I think 362 days will be a good vacation for this crowd.
She has a reason to gloat over NY23..Republicans screwed up ..and badly. I hope this taught them a lesson...but I wouldn’t count on it.
I am still laughing that we won NJ..even with all the voter fraud. THAT should be a real wake up call to those that relied on Acorn fraud to get elected.

I'm still spinning dizzy from threads and posters calling Owen's win last night a victory for the GOP.
Pelosi's other comments don't mean anything to me. She isn't acquainted with the truth in any form.
I think her neurons have been botoxed!
