The Republican Party Can Go To Hell !!!
LuckyBogey's Blog ^ | October 17, 2009 | LuckyBogey

...Enter the Republican establishment. They sold this country out when they were in power and can’t ever be trusted again. But they see an opening and are setting the stage for their own return.

They are handpicking candidates — Bush-likes and Bush-lites — to run against conservatives in primaries. Many are retreads, all are available for purchase. Then the party elite endorses their candidate early in the primary, fills their coffers with millions from corporate PACs and special interests, pressures party regulars to get in line, and sends word to the grassroots candidates: “Drop out — you can’t win”.

Their game plan: shut out the conservative populists. But if candidates running for office because of love of country are marginalized by the party elite, in favor of career politicians beholden to party leaders, we are lost — and so is America...

The rebellion must start to focus on producing candidates that will do represent the American people in Washington — then we must rally behind them and defeat the establishment candidates in the primaries.

If that doesn’t work, we must field candidates to run as independents in the general. The country is too important to let the establishment of either party continue to have their way with her...

Rinos were in power when Reagan arrived. They hated him and tried to keep him from power. It did not work and they all hit the skids in ensuing years at every level of government. We need to clear them out again. Don’t vote for Rinos. Vote for conservative Republicans.

Ummmm, how did “at least he’s not George Bush” reasoning get Barack Obama elected?

Nader, Barr, and Badnarik were “in the game” about the same way amateurs get to “try” to win the US Open: no real chance. But there were three parties in play in 2008: Ds, Rs, and Ms. The M(arxist)s masqueraded as Ds, stole 13 of 14 caucuses, and won an electoral landside. They are in power, and they are willing to do *anything* to stay in power, or to “transform” this nation to such an extent that we will find it virtually impossible to repair the damage.

We need to beat Dems and RINOs in order to beat the Ms, because only conservatives will oppose the Ms. I pray that we can get back to where we only have to beat the Ds and RINOs, but I don’t see this happening by any legal means.

>Ummmm, how did “at least he’s not George Bush” reasoning get Barack Obama elected?

On questioning several college students on WHY they voted for Obama, I found most replies either included or boiled down to “at least he’s not Bush.” {And yes, I did reply “McCain’s not Bush EITHER!”}

But, even leaving anecdotal evidence aside, the existence of the term “Bush Fatigue” indicates the underlying “at least he’s not George Bush” mentality; this can also be seen in the HOPE and CHANGE campaign that Obama was running.

Now, I’m not saying that ALL Pr. Bush did was bad; there were some very good things about him: his willingness to take a moral stand against what he perceived as evil [terrorism and embryonic stem-cell research to name a few], he was very respectful of the work of those under him [note how he motorcaded to the Katrina relief-operations instead of flying in and screwing up all airborne S&R missions], and he had the class/style/thick-skin to, despite being demonized by the media, continue to do what he believed his job was.

But let’s be realistic, he’s human and had failings too; He was a supporter of amnesty for one, the patriot act for another. The massive-spending, as well as the complete lack of proposal to illegialze abortion as murder, or restore the right to recognize it as such to the states I lay more on the party (ie Congress, and state) as a whole then on him.

“Ronpaul is a libertarian whose foreign policy is no different then the Democrats.”

That’s why the country is lost. If you, and people like you, do not know the difference between the leftist democrat’s foreign policy and the views of Ron Paul, that gross ignorance is why there is no hope for this country.

Okay, but I have no idea what that has to do with third parties.

shark,
what is it about Doug Hoffman that you find so objectionable?
The fact that he is within a few percentage points of winning?

Ronpaul's foreign policy is right out of the Democratic Party playbook. If you think it isn't, you're the one displaying gross ignorance. Ronpaul voted against the Iraq resolution, he opposes our involvement in Afghanistan and voted against funding the troops. He wants ALL the US troops from around the world to come home and have us in full retreat. Paul blames America for 911, not the terrorists. Btw, when was the last time Ronpaul voted for a defense appropriations bill?

Ronpaul is a self-professed pacifist and a military and political isolationist. Not a patriot, but more a dangerous and naive fool.

It’s very related to the “Vote Republican or the Democrats will win!” crowd; don’t you see? That is why I made the comparison to being offered defecate or feted-meat as the offerings for a meal... it is the same choice being offered to us politically.

Nothing in particular...

No, that the ‘argument’ put forth is so weak. See post #31.
Neither party, respects the Constitution that is SUPPOSEDLY the supreme law of the land.

"NY-23 should be the last straw ..."

The last straw ... on conservatives sitting around and waiting for RINO's to waltz their way to the GOP nomination. But, fret not! The local people are battlin' back behind a great conservative and a true patriot. (Yea, if ya sit around doodling, ya can't justifiably blame somebody else if ya lose.)

There happens to be a lot more to foreign policy than war, but narrow minded people cannot think of anything else. I presume, therefore, you are just delighted with the millions of American’s dollars that are going to foreign aid, especially to the very countries that harbor and foster terrorists. Ron Paul isn’t.

And you must be delighted with this country surrendering sovereignty to the Wold Bank, IMF, and UN, which the democrats love. Ron Paul doesn’t.

By the way, I want all the US troops around the world to come home too. Then, if you and the other war mongers are willing to finance, with your own money, killing people and destroying property in every backwater hell-hole in the world, and can convince enough idiots to volunteer to die for your useless schemes, do it, but not with other people’s money (or other people’s children), please.

World War II was the last legitimate war the US fought. All the rest have been political, and an excuse for a big military and to give the generals something to do. Not one American individual’s life was saved or improved by any of those wars—but a lot of American’s lost their lives and their fortunes because of them.

Hank

Fine. Then someone point the ever-growing tide of conservatives who DESPERATELY desire an alternative to the GOP, towards a PAC that only supports strong conservatives; whose charter is intentionally written to deny RINOs any support. Either that, or we continue supporting conservative candidates directly with a mind to deliberately starve the GOP of our direct financial support.

The RINO-mill GOP will never, ever see another penny or word of support from us. That sentiment grows with more and more people with every passing day. The only thing the GOP gets from me is their returned mailers (costing them postage) with a nasty-gram inside.

To be clear, I will readily contribute time & money directly for conservative candidates and I encourage other conservatives to do the same. The RNC, NRSC, NRCC - can all pack sand.

Talk about narrow minded! LOL

Gandhi, MLKJr and Rosa Parks are heroes to Ronpaul and clearly Ronpaul is a hero to you. You're both naive and dangerous fools. Thankfully Ronpaul will never be potus.

I have never said in any post on FR or my blog site that I support or would vote for Ron Paul or any 3rd party. You obviously did not listen to SA on youtube.
