The Taliban LOVES Obama, and why shouldn't they?!
Obama's new Rules of Engagement (ROE) as Commander-in-Chief provide that protecting Afghan civilians is now to be our military's TOP priority, so that our troops, when fired upon, can NOT return fire if there is a possibility of civilian casualties.
Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, has implemented Obama's new ROEs and made protecting Afghan civilians his top priority. How can you fight a war when the objective is no longer to win??
So, with our enemies now having the benefit our TOP SECRET interrogation technique manuals thanks to Obama, and now knowing Obama's ROEs that U.S. troops will not return fire if fired upon from civilian areas, what does the enemy do? Of course, they shoot at us from civilian homes and civilian compounds knowing that we will not return fire!
These new ROE's have already cost American Marines' lives in Afghanistan.
Four Marines were killed on Tuesday of this week because of these ROEs!
These ROEs are a surefire way to lose a war & American troops' lives. Either fight to win using the Rules of Engagement successfully utilized by General Patton during WWII - pursuing and shooting the enemy wherever it may be OR GET THE HELL OUT!!
President Obama, stop playing with our troops' lives for your social engineering!
The lying b*****d is Vietnaming our troops. The kill rates have gone up in Afganistan. Our men and women are at risk because of this turkey’s incompetence or maliciousness.

This war is being fought like it is a street crime scene and has to be justified as if it was a civilian action.
No child of mine will fight in a war of this nature. OUr troops are too brave and gallant to be stuck in danger of this regime’s making.
Terrorists are Obama’s brothers. After all, he told the world we aren’t at war with Islam. Obama is at war with the U.S.A.

I served in the Americal Division, in ‘Nam, after the Mai Lai incident and under General Baldwin.
I remember when HIS “rules of engagement” lost us Fire Base Mary Ann!
An entire Fire Base over-run by the ‘Cong & NVA, because of Baldwin’s “rules for engagement”.
So what became of the General?... He was “barred from Promotion” & transfered back to the Pentagon {until his Retirement}.

Bravo for you - I couldn’t have stated it better or more accurately.
I can think of no better way to begin (to the extent it might be possible) to acclimate the mindset of our troops to the idea of operations within our own borders
