Throughout history governments have ignored the rights of citizens and instead have maximized their own power. Those in public office have used it for their own personal gain, or to take wealth from some and give to others in order to maintain their own power. It is a classic model that hasnt changed much in thousands of years.
The modern iteration of this is a leviathan federal government run by a political party based precisely on such principles. The bread and circuses of Roman times have merely been replaced with redistribution of wealth and a paternalistic state.
The other major political party in America ostensibly believes in limited government and free markets, but as the previous administration proved, these principles are practiced only when convenient. Sometimes it may be necessary to disregard the free market, in order to save it. How disapointing.

Obama DeathCare supporter mouths off and gets threatening with taser by cops, put on ground and handcuffed!
How many people do you think will show in DC?
500,000 or more?
I’m going to DC are you?
Well written commentary, thanks
Yes! I’ll be there.
I hope a million show up!!!
I’m going. Bringing my sister with me. Hotel is booked for 2 nights....One day when my grandchildren ask me why they pay so much in taxes, or what free America used to be like, I can look in their eyes and tell them I did what I could!
I’m expecting a million people. And I STAND IN for those with no job and can’t afford to make the trip!!
I’m going but I don’t think it will do any good. I fear it is too late to avoid chaos. So be it.
No, I did not enjoy at all. He had the right to speak on a public street. You do not need a permit to do so. Pretty scary. Could be one of us next time. More likely to be one of us who stand up to government.
I’m going, too, along with my father, brother, and brother-in-law.
My family and I attend the DC March for Life each year. It never makes any of the local stations in PA, though EWTN covers it.
I think this march will be too big to ignore. I hope we effectively shut down DC, and I don’t mind doing my part to make it happen.
Good job, Sammy.
The guy was shouting and screaming at people
AMEN! See you there.
It’s so hard to know how many people will be there because there are so many groups participating...it’s going to be interesting, though. I’ll be there..you couldn’t keep me away!
