Here is video of Fox News' Megyn Kelly tenaciously questioning White House Spokesman Bill Burton on whether or not the White House is purging email information being forwarded to them of opponents of Obama's Health Care Plan. Burton absolutely refused to say they were deleting that email information.
Megyn Kelly would not let him off the hook, repeatedly asking that question while Burton repeatedly tried to change the subject and refused to answer her question. Finally he said in frustration that he was "flabbergasted" at her line of questioning.
He also later said that opponents of ObamaCare are "people showing up with Swastikas." . . . . (Watch Video)

I watched it, and he wouldn’t shut up and wouldn’t answer a question.
My understanding is that there can be no good answer.
To purge the email is illegal.
To collect the information is illegal.
I'm not an expert on the precise legal issues, but that's what I heard.

What you are saying is true according to attorneys who have been on FOX.
The key here is to not collect the email info....therefore, there would be nothing to purge.....

I do think is this was challenged by attorneys, the inital act of gethering the information (illegal) would take precedence over the second (illegal to purge).
The more I see of Megyn Kelly the more I like her.
If that is true it is because the conservatives are accusing the liberals of being national socialist thugs because of the left's insistance on deciding who lives and who dies under the plan.
I've even been "guilty" of some of it here by asking whether the S in SEIU stands for Schutzstaffel or Sturmabteilung.
Megyn owned him!!! Just like all politicians and administration official you cannot get a straight answer. The American folks know something is “fishy” that is why they are having problems with the folks. BTW there is nothing better than Megyn grilling the like over morning coffee I do love that often.
Megyn does her homework and smiles while she inserts the knife she is a very good journalist, and her first child will have not a chance to get away with anything. lol
I’ll second that. They’re in violation either way.
Whatever emails they receive, they cannot delete.
If the emails just kinda showed up and were reasonably put in the “crank file” (not deleted, but otherwise ignored), they’d be OK.
However, the information has been solicited, demonstrating malicious intent - and that’s illegal.
They _could_ somehow demonstrate (good luck) that they’re backing off from the illegal solicitation and, having no other recourse, sending them to the crank file. That _might_ keep them out of hot water (to wit: “sorry, didn’t know I couldn’t do that, I’ve repented, won’t happen again...”).
Time for a judge to review this.

But the expert, Gail Reed, is a longtime admirer of the Cuban revolution, married to the Cuban official who served as ambassador to Grenada in the early 1980s when U.S. troops liberated the island from hardline communists who had executed the leftist Prime Minister Maurice Bishop. She's also worked at Granma, Cuba’s official communist party newspaper.

As for Reed, she was profiled in the Miami Herald back in 1983 after she and her husband returned to Cuba after American forces liberated Grenada. She talked about the fear she felt at seeing U.S. Marines surrounding the Cuban embassy, and told the newspaper, “I feel I have a very strong identification with the Cuban revolution.”
“When I first came to Cuba in the ’70s, I was very impressed with their efforts in building a new kind of society,” Reed explained.
