Democrats Working Overtime To Keep Uppity Women In Their Place
Start Thinking Right ^ | August 10, 2009 | Michael Eden

Are you a woman who does not understand her place? Do you have your values and your own opinions? Does anyone consider you attractive?

Well, watch out for the Democrat Party. They're out to destroy you.

I watched a documentary on the Soviet-era illegal biological warfare factories. An author who visited one of the plants after it was shut down, after commenting that it was two football fields long and produced enough biological death to wipe out every human being on the planet, said, "I finally thought I understood the meaning of evil."

I understood the meaning of evil as I watched the most unhinged, most vicious, most deranged attack of a human being I had ever seen as liberals targeted Sarah Palin, her family, and her little baby.

Sarah Palin stepped down, having successfully fought off over fifteen trumped-up ethics charge at a cost of about a million bucks to her family. But liberals thank the God they generally despise because they still have another target to unleash their hate on: Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.

See the Politico story titled, "For Dems, a new public enemy No. 1":

Michele Bachmann speaks in a mic. "Ask Minnesota Democratic officials about Michele Bachmann, and they can barely contain their anger."

Judging by the treatment accorded to Sarah Palin, Carrie Prejean, and now Michelle Bachmann, the worst thing a woman can be is attractive, strong, and well-spoken.

Liberals hate that. And liberal women hate attractive women who are in control of their own lives and their own values.

Michelle Bachmann is no more "crazy" conservative than a LOT of her male counterparts. But the Democrat Party cannot stand a strong, independent woman.

I'm reminded of that famous ad where the gray-scale crowd of totalitarian-oppressed automatons watch a dictator lecture them on the giant viewscreen, when suddenly a beautiful young woman burst onto the screen - pursued by stormtroopers - and destroys the entire hypocritical fraud that is the regime:

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h3G-lMZxjo]

That's what is really going on here. Liberals cannot tolerate an attractive woman who stands up for her own conservative traditional values. Such a woman reveals them for the hateful trolls they are, and so any such woman must the destroyed at all costs no matter what it takes to protect liberalism.

I remember when Sarah Palin was first attacked by the National Organization for Women. And Kirsten Powers, herself very liberal in her politics, said:

"It’s not the National Organization for Women, right? But it’s not. It’s really the National Organization for Liberal Women. It’s not the National Organization for Women, because she’s a woman. And they put out a statement saying, “Not all women speak for women. Sarah Palin doesn’t speak for women.” Well, look; this woman, when I look at her – even if I don’t support her, you know, a lot of her policies, she is the embodiment of what feminism was all about. She’s a mother, she’s successful, her husband helps with the children. You know, we should be exited about this, even if you don’t support her" ...

"I would agree with that if they had any kind of actual moral authority, but they don’t, because they don’t ever support any women who don’t support their very narrow agenda. So they should just rename themselves and say what they’re really for, and stop pretending like they really care about the advancement for women."

Without the false and irrational image of "we represent women," liberals are nothing. And women like Palin, Prejean, and Bachmann prove they are nothing. So the left has to destroy these women lest the automatons take their eyes of the regime's viewscreen and see it for the hollow, ugly scam that it truly is.

In the America of old, or a sane world, which is what America used to be, a congressman (or woman) who refused to fill out the census form would be crazy. Ms. Bachmann showed incredibly good judgment by not giving away her personal info, because it WOULD have ended up in the hands of Acorn. What kind of world do we live in where a bitter, radical, criminal left wing organization like Acorn can pose a genuine threat to a member of Congress, and no one will stop them?

I always thought that commercial was the highth of hypocracy. After all, it was Apple (who ran the ad) which did not allow any freedom in tailoring the system. Apple was the one who said this is all you can have/do. The mean evil ‘dictator’ (IBM) was the one who gave the computer user the freedom to mix and match components.

But to the point of your post. There were only one reason the feminists opposed Palin and that was abortion.

I won’t comment regarding your difference with Apple and the ad (and by the way, the ad I actually use is the political version that features Hillary Clinton as “Madame Big Brother.”

But I will respond to your conclusion: “But to the point of your post. There were only one reason the feminists opposed Palin and that was abortion.”

A LOT of Republican politicians oppose abortion. So why did they just go after Sarah Palin? And you can’t say it was because of her VP run, because it just went on and on even after the election.

Now Sarah Palin has stepped down, and they found a NEW target - and lo and behold - the EXACT same sort of target: an attractive Republican WOMAN.

I believe that there is no question at all that they are singling out and attacking intelligent, well-spoken conservative women because they represent a threat to “NOW-feminist Democrats.”

No no no! Don’t you read the liberal newspapers or watch the news (exclude Fox). Republicians are homophobes. If you listen to their campaign drivel, they are the true supporters of the queer liberation.

Of course. But would these women pose such a threat if they were intelligent, well spoken women who supported abortion while adopting an otherwise conservative agenda? NOW is a single issue organization completely committed to the preservation and extension of abortion. Sure, they may adopt other liberal positions but that is a tactical maneuver, a payback for the support of other liberal organizations for their support of the NOW agenda.

NOW supported Bill Clinton and opposed impeachment despite his actions which would have brought NOW condemnation of any other man for one and only one reason. They believed that the preservation of Bill Clinton as president was essential to the defense of abortion on demand. If Clinton had not supported abortion, NOW would not have rushed to his defense.

If Clinton had not supported abortion, NOW would not have rushed to his defense, in fact they would have been among the first to call for his head.

Abortion is most certainly a key plank in the conservative, life-affirming worldview.

But, again, there are a LOT of Republicans who are pro-life. If it’s all about abortion, and NOT about targeting attractive conservative Republican female politicians, then why are they saving their most rabid fire for ONLY these women?

They came unglued over Sarah Palin as they haven’t done for ANYONE else EVER. And now Politico is reporting that they are doing the SAME thing to Michelle Bachmann. And let’s not forget what they did not Carrie Prejean (and her issue was gay marriage, not abortion).

I’m not saying abortion is irrelevant; I’m saying the goal is to destroy a particular type of politician who supports abortion: attractive Republican women.

Let me be crystal clear

You seem to think that NOW would not attack an articulate conservative woman who supports abortion but who is not particularly attractive.

“If Clinton had not supported abortion, NOW would not have rushed to his defense, in fact they would have been among the first to call for his head.”

I believe that several feminist leaders made statements to the effect (I’ll have to paraphrase, I believe their comments were rather descriptive):

One said that she believed every woman in America should line up to service (graphic description of how) Bill Clinton for keeping abortion legal.

Another said she’d do to Bill what Monica did because of his gratitude for abortion.

Tell you what: I have cited THREE attractive conservative women who have been viciously attacked (with Michelle Bachmann's treatment getting major coverage in Politico today). by the left. I'm not talking about limiting this to the irrelevant NOW; I'm talking about a sustained campaign by the organized left, of which NOW is a tiny if rabid little part.

If you can name three "not particularly attractive" anti-abortion women who have been as viciously and unrelentingly attacked as Sarah Palin, Carrie Prejean, and Michelle Bachmann, you win. Otherwise, I win.

In point of fact, you won't be able to name even ONE.

You are refusing to see a VERY clear trend. A trend to target attractive conservative women.

Btw,

I forgot to mention, during the same period. Because this is a NEW tactic that the left began with Sarah Palin.

So find your “not particularly attractive” anti-abortion women who have been attacked again and again and again with utter rabid ferocity in the year.

It’s the abortion business. Not just that Palin is against abortion, but that she didn’t have one when she was “supposed” to.

Yes, they do hate attractive articulate conservative women, and they are going after them hammer and tong.

But this also reflects a change in the nature of the Democratic Party. It isn’t your Uncle Harry’s party any more. We’ve seen the politics of personal destruction before as they’ve gone after individuals and torn them to shreds, but its being ramped up to a permanent state of warfare. We saw the Clinton’s war-room style of attack politics, and now we are seeing the ACORN style of attack politics which looks a lot more like soviet agitprop than anything I’ve seen in a long time.

So now anyone who dares to question them or dissent is being attacked, even physically. We saw this during the primary and its ramping up now.

The “new” Dems see politics as warfare. You are not their fellow citizen anymore. They will not try to persuade you; they will shout you down, expose you, rough you up, shut you out, sic their lawyers on you, sic their mobs on you. They’ll distort who you are every day in the press and in the entertainment media until even your pet dog won’t want to be seen with you. This is what they do.
