One young woman,a student at Wichita State University (WSU),who request to remain anonymous, said "Celebrities are idols.Gods and Goddesses. They're bigger than life. No one really believes that they can die prematurely. No one really believes that Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, or Kevin Costner can be killed in a car accident tomorrow. It is unfathomable to imagine that tomorrow's news headline could say something like, 'Brad Pitt, discovered dead after falling down his living room stairs and breaking neck.' So when it happens, people tend to get serious and say, 'If they could die prematurely, so can I.'"

Michelle Singletary, journalist for the Shreveport Times writes, "The death of Michael Jackson, and the initial confusion over his will, got me to thinking: My husband and I are long overdue for updating ours." In fact, it has gotten many people of all professions looking into what it takes to get their will updated, or started.

Chas Rampental sells online wills. He expects to get more business in the wake of Michael Jackson's death. As general counsel of LegalZoom.com, he noticed a sharp uptick in demand when model Anna Nicole Smith died in 2007, triggering a messy battle over her estate. "All that publicity reminded people they should have an up-to-date will," He said. (Source, Los Angeles Times)

The report shows how media bias convinced 3 to 8 percent of it's viewers to vote in favor of the bias of the media. This report (which was about Fox News) shows very clearly that people do vote, and make personal opinions of who they are going to agree with, and what issues they are going to find most important, based off of what they see on TV.

Affect is incorrect—right? I have a huge problem keeping affect/effect apart, but this looks wrong. Effect-noun, Affect-verb...
