Screaming constituents, protesters dragged out by the cops, congressmen fearful for their safety — welcome to the new town-hall-style meeting, the once-staid forum that is rapidly turning into a house of horrors for members of Congress.

Because the people are tied of the lies and the absolute monstrosities that thee Congressmen, particularly the DNC, are producing.

It should be a message to them about what is coming in 2010.

The Dem Health Care Plan, Obama Care, provides another perfect opportunity to drive that message home.

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.

Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that — (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).

A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.

That wasn't a WILD GROUP, it looked and sounded like a group of very dedicated Americans to me who shouted in unison about the horror Pelosi has done, said the Pledge of Alligence, Sang GOD BLESS AMERICA and chanted 'No more cap and trade' and 'throw the bums out' ( I like that one! ). Bishop is a COWARD for not going out onto the porch and answering EACH one of their QUESTIONS until every one was answered. Period. He owes that to his constituents....what a COWARD.

I have no way of knowing whether this sotry is true or not but I certainly hope none of the protestors actually made a physically-threatening comment. That sort of stuff is counter-productive towards what we’re trying to do.

I suspect that this was gross exagerration by Rep Bishop and his supporters - much in the same way a Missouri member of Congress called the police after having received tea bags in their office mail.

I love all the great work that you do — keep it up! My take on why things appear to be ‘heating up’ out in the grassroots is because all of this destruction is starting to shall we say, ‘get personal’.

Before it only affected a small % of the population....but what Obama is dismantling is affecting an ever increasing larger % of the population. The deathcare bill really strikes into the heart of the country as it will affect EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN.

As it starts to get personal the people get angry. And if that monstrosity of a healthcare bill does pass the Senate (let alone the house) I fully expect a civil war to officially begin as people realize their care has been rationed and their loved ones are told to die. Half of this country will roll over and say kick me some more, but the other half will not take this without a fight.

Apart from the reference to Mike Castle of Delaware whose town meeting we are all already familiar with, every reference was to a Democrat.

One can expect that these Democrats are going to have a very unhappy month of August. When a Democrat in Long Island is facing problems there something stirring out there.

If there was ever a place where free speech should be protected it is when constituents speak to their representatives for the redress of grievances. Policemen prohibiting the use of signs at a political meeting should be found unconstitutional providing the signs do not have posts attached which might be used as a weapon.

I was on a local blog arguing with a lib about obamacare (they really hate that term!). He brought up that poster and (rightfully) pointed out how complex it is. His complaint was that we were trying to scare people by painting an unfair picture of both the present product and the proposed future one.

I replied that I could give him a poster that showed obamacare in a second. Here it is:
