A Newsmax.com poll reveals that nearly four out of five respondents would support Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee for president in 2012.
A slightly larger majority believe the then-Alaska governor helped John McCain in the 2008 presidential race while only 31 percent think McCain did a good job running for president.
The poll drew more than 600,000 responses, and Newsmax will provide the results to major media and share them with radio talk show hosts across the country.
Now that’s a believable poll-—I know cause I participated in it myself.
My in-laws are visiting from India. When my FIL first got here, I asked him what he thought of Sarah Palin (since he gets all his news basically from the MSM overseas)—his impression was that she was a bimbo, clueless, no experience, pretty but airheaded, a quitter, etc.
I’ve been educating him as to the truth. :-)
A few days ago he watched her goodbye speech to Alaska and was absolutely stunned. “My God!” he told me,”This woman is an inspiration and knows what she is talking about! She’s nothing like the news reports have shown!”
If he could vote here in 2012, I do believe my FIL would be all Sarah, all the way! :-)
See, and that is the one issue Sarah has to deal with. The media convinced many people she is stupid, but once people actually hear her talk, they think differently. I DESPISE the media for doing this to her, for treating her the way that they did
GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is hugh and series. I'm glad he was stuned and has a new view of the Sarah Palin we know. It illustrates the power and influence of the state run media. The state run media needs to be crushed. This also illustrates how smart Sarah was to outflank the jerks (Obama, Soros, the Rats) trying to destroy her while running Alaska.
The only thing the McStain campaign did right was to bring in Sarah as his VP running mate.
I think we should run Bob Dole with Gerald Ford. Mr. Ford could appeal to the deceased voters since Acorn has a lot of them registered.
Bob Dole agrees with running Bob Dole!
What’s this?
Not another poll asking democraps how stupid she is?
amazing...
LLS
You should read the poll before you make dumb ass remarks.
They will be lining up to be part of the Palin team. They are already. Really, what sort of idiotic comments are you making. What do you know, really? Fanatasy.
Hey! I voted for Palin back in November! I’d vote for her again too!
If Citizen Palin does make a White House run in the future, a good test would be the New Hampshire primary. NH is full of suburban independents. The kind of people Palin needs to prove to. If Palin wins the NH primary by a strong margin, then she will have proven herself to be a viable national candidate.
I hear ya, the media are slime. I wont be satisfied until I see Couric waiting in line at a soup kitchen.
But you know, about 30 years ago, I remember people were saying the same type of things about Ronald Reagan. I believe many in the media have underestimated Sarah the same way they did him.
And, one things for sure she has smoked out the real snakes in the grass among the GOP and the MSM. Steele can help Palin supporters by closing the primaries.
“The poll drew more than 600,000 responses, and Newsmax will provide the results to major media and share them with radio talk show hosts across the country.”
If the poll “drew” responses, it was not a random scientific poll. In other words, it is meaningless.
When we freep a poll, it doesn’t change reality, it only skews the poll results away from reality.
The liberals and democrats know their in trouble. That’s why the big push to attempt to destroy her now.It will be President Palin in 2013 by a majority landslide.!
I've been praaching that for years. It is the House that has the real power to keep boobs like Obama and Pelosi in line -- they control the purse!!!
Agreed. She better build her ground team in New Hampshire FAST. Mitt has already run once in New Hampshire (and lost), and knows the state already.
If Palin does well in New Hampshire, then we may see a groundswell of those on the fence gravitation towards her. An Iowa straw poll victory wouldn't mean as much as said poll is disproportionately affected by evangelical Christians (who may wind up sticking with Huckabee).
Mike Huckabee is basically the best thing that could happen to Mitt Romney. Therefore, Sarah has to build support among non-evangelicals and suburban voters if she has a chance.
