A Newsmax.com poll reveals that nearly four out of five respondents would support Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee for president in 2012.
A slightly larger majority believe the then-Alaska governor helped John McCain in the 2008 presidential race while only 31 percent think McCain did a good job running for president.
The poll drew more than 600,000 responses, and Newsmax will provide the results to major media and share them with radio talk show hosts across the country.
Including many Democrats who know that Minnie Pearl will get spanked outside of rural areas.
Excellent news. Talking heads will explode tonight. I’m *so* ready for the Palin revolution.
Trivia: As she walked away from the podium after delivering her resignation address, her right fist was clenched the way mine is when I’ve done something right, when I’ve hit a goal. That was a winner restraining herself. I’m behind her all the way.
GO CUDA!!!
Makes my day!
Palin bashers need not reply.
Was this an online Freeped poll?
Certainly not the Romnatics who would lose everything outside of Utah.
Ping!
Orly? I know what we can do. Let’s just run the same candidates we ran last time. Hell, let’s give John McCain the nod, I’m sure he’ll get it right this time. maybe Mitt Romney’s hair will win this time.
The GOP is dead, friend, and our country is only seconds behind them. Better start thinking outside of the box, and soon.
Me too. I bet the media won’t release this poll. They are still trying to convince people that Sarah Palin isn’t popular anymore. Poor media, they don’t know what’s coming. By this time in 2012 we will see REAL change. But first thing’s first, we gotta take back the House and Senate, that’s the #1 priority. I will walk over broken glass to vote for Sarah. I will campaign for her, raise money for her, fly to Alaska to beg her to be her campaign manager(Hey I can always dream) I haven’t been this inspired by a person since Ronald Reagan
3. In the election between McCain-Palin and Obama-Biden, who did you vote for?
McCain-Palin: 81%
Obama-Biden: 16%
Other: 3%
Polls are loaded on both sides of the aisle. This looks like a Republican poll. Which is good news too.
I have a feeling that even if Sarah runs, she will have difficulty finding talented people to run her ground game (you need to have cash to do that. "Enthusiastic volunteers" don't compensate for organization and a solid ground game). My paranoid Spidey-sense is also telling me that Huckabee is on the Romney payroll to split the born-again vote with Sarah in the south and lower midwest.
For those interested, I was a Sanford supporter who is now undecided. I will support anyone who gets the GOP nomination unless it is the (highly unlikely) choice of Rudy Giussolini, who I have a visceral dislike of.
Sarah is the only one I’m supporting in ‘12. Already have the bumper sticker. Palin ‘12 - You Betcha!
Romney will do terribly. He is too liberal for Conservatives, his Mormonism will be used by the MSM to shoo away liberals and swingers and be the reason why he will win only Utah and MAYBE Colorado or Nevada.
Palin is from Idaho. She will do great there. Same for most other red states and she will be better at the swing states than Romney.
I doubt Huckabee would do much harm... the born-again voters love Sarah. Huckabee is so lukewarm and yesteryear.
Sarah HAS to get the voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida SOLIDLY behind her well before she commits in say 2011. Then the first step before that is getting reps in the house to switch the leadership failures of Pelosi, Boehner, etc.
What we need is a POLITCAL REVOLUTION - plain and simple.
We need a leader that reflects our goals and aspirations, and is TRUSTWORTHY to lead us in this REVOLUTION!
That leader is
Hmmmm.. can Palin pull it off?
Personally I’d like to see Jindahl run.
This is good solid news. Still a long way off but it’s very good for her to leave office with repuclicans charged up about her. The Palin doubter in this thread sounds like David Shuster.
It’s an online poll which means it’s worthless.
But, if somebody wants to run with the results in the MSM, well, good for us.
There’s support for the Gov here in Iowa...I hope she comes down here soon and often!!!!
