There was a single case in the VPC report from Minnesota. The VPC, apparently relying solely upon a Star Tribune article, reported the incident as: "Iheme, who had a concealed handgun permit, was found guilty of second degree murder." But actual court records which would have been easily researchable, reveal that Mr. Iheme did not have a permit.
I actually found the court documents (which are in the article) PROVING that the VPC report is fatally flawed!

Don’t think Communists are honest for a minute.
I'm really a-sared of permit holders now. I mean, these guys (and gals) are actually trained to know when and how to fire a weapon. And, they blend in with the rest of the population.
At least the thug goes to the effort to stand-out a little. And, their lack of training will make them lousy shots- not to mention a weapon maintenance regimen that'll almost rival their car maintenance.(are jumper cables handy if a round doesn't feed? "I been running ball ammo through my Glock and it done blowed-up. Cheap-a** gun, if you ask me.")
At least we Californians don't have to worry much about permit holders 'cause it's such a pain to get one. Besides, we have enough gang members, thugs, and misfits to worry about already. I don't think Mam Feinstein could sleep at night knowing Californians could defend themselves and families. Mam Boxer, either.
