(Bristol, England) A 20-year-old radical Muslim, Isa Ibrahim, was sentenced to prison this week after being convicted of plotting a suicide attack on a Bristol shopping center.
Police were alerted to the plot by a member of the Al-Baseera mosque after Ibrahim boasted of his plans. Police then raided Ibrahim's apartment and found that he was in the process of packing home-made explosives in a suicide vest. The jury convicted Ibrahim, a former pupil of Downside School, near Bath, by majority of making an explosive. He was also found guilty of preparing terrorist acts.
Ibrahim was given an indeterminate sentence and told by the judge, Mr Justice Butterfield, he should serve a minimum of 10 years. "You were, in my judgment, a lonely and angry young person at the time of these events, with a craving for attention," the judge said.
Being lonely and angry is merely part of his problem. Reportedly, Ibrahim also had a drug-addled mind.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Successful counter-terrorism can be described as a non-event. Nothing happens because we are successful in identifying people who are intent on committing an act or acts of terrorism, and manage to somehow intervene to prevent them from doing so. When we fail to identify and focus our efforts on the right people, however, bad things happen.”
What is it with these people who refuse to see the truth when it is standing right before them. Lonely? Craving for attention?
How about call it what it is. He adopted a radical Jihad attitude and was going to make war on you, you idiots?
He should be executed. That he will be out in a few years speaks to the insanity of the situation.
And now, here in our own country, we have a President that not only misreads them...he is sympathetic to them!
We are at a pivotal crossroads in our nation's history. A very steep, very hard and dangerous roads leads one way...an abject fatal precipice leads the other.

Shopping Centres On Alert For Terrorism Attack

Shopping centres on alert for terrorism attack
The security services are preparing shopping centres across the country for a successful terrorist attack that would probably result in the deaths of dozens of innocent people.
Duncan Gardham 18 Jul 2009
Ibrahim’s attempt was the third time in four years that terrorists have targeted the large crowds that gather in these relatively unguarded places.
In March 2004 a plot to blow up the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent with half a ton of ammonium nitrate fertiliser was foiled by MI5 and a month after Ibrahim’s arrest last year, Nicky Reilly, another Muslim convert, tried to blow himself up with a sodium hydroxide bomb in the Princesshay shopping centre in Exeter.
The National Counter Terrorism Security Office now holds training days for shopping centres and other vulnerable targets up and down the country, warning: “Terrorist attacks in the UK are a real and serious danger.
“Crowded places, including shopping centres, are likely to feature in the attack plans of terrorist organisations in the future as they are usually locations with limited protective security measures and therefore afford the potential for mass fatalities and casualties.”
MI5 have also launched Operation Lightening to record, research and investigate suspicious activity and it is particularly focused on the “hostile reconnaissance” of targets.
On Monday April 7 last year, just after 2.30pm, Ibrahim walked into what is now called the Mall shopping centre in Broadmead, in the centre of Bristol, tying his jacket and sweatshirt around his waist.
He made his way up to the top level towards the record shop Zavi and then past TK Max to the car park pay machines where he probably started tapping details into his mobile phone.

Global Jihad is just that...global jihad and some people just can’t grasp that simple concept.
I’ve got a serious grasp, Cindy....
