While BravoTV's "Top Chef Masters" disappoints, Food Network's "The Next Food Network Star" churns on. We've got drama between the contenders, all sorts of believable food, the ones you'll hate, the ones you'll love, liars and charletons.
All with pics of food AND people you'll find nowhere else on the Internet.

Alton Brown makes me laugh out loud more times than any “comedy” ever has!
Any reviews/insight on Harpers Island?
Giada de Laurentiis causes me to tune in every time.
Yeah, that one's pretty good for practical tips, and I hope they eventually make some more episodes. Seems like everyone I see is a repeat.
Alton Brown is truly ROTFLOL funny!
I have put a few of his DVD’s into my Blockbuster queue.
Wylie Dufresne sure came off as a neurotic mess. Don’t think that boy can function without help.
I always thought that Sunny Anderson was cute.
They’re airing new ones. It’s in it’s 13th season. I think we’re up to the 7th episode or so this year. He did one on party punch, another on parsnips, and one on pork loin. They repeat the hell out of it though, so you have to check the listings to find the new ones.
That show makes me hungry, but I love it too. If it wasn’t for the food network, I’d have cancelled the cable long ago.
I love Unwrapped, DDI&D, and Good Eats. I really don’t like a lot of the cooking ‘personalities’ though. The one I really can’t stand is The Neelys. And that loud gay guy who has like 2 shows now really just creeps me out. I forget his name.
How is wearing your sunglasses on the back of your head cool? It’s an affectation. What’s the point?
He’s from my town. Gotta support local talent!
I always thought that the Food channel was a poor imitator of Bravo’s Top Chef. Bravo is running out of ideas though. They’re starting to have more reality type shows and less contest type stuff. The first season of Top Chef was the best.
It's cooking, not metaphysics or a Rohrshcak test! They overintellectulize the whole thing.
I wonder what I’m supposed to see in the stuff served up at the dirty gyro and taco trucks in Manhattan! LOL
Probably some type of foreeign influence.
I’m dousing the chicken on the BBQ tonight with Frank’s RedHot Sauce. Nom.
I’ve made a bunch of Tyler Florence “Ultimate” recipes, and they’re quite good, and I’ve also made a bunch of Alton Brown recipes, and they’re also quite good.
You’re just not watching the right FN shows!
