If it gets out that you looked at the Federalist Papers, you could be labeled as a terrorist, or one of those people that are contingency examples of those who perform man-made acts of incidents, or whatever the code word it this week. Anyway, knock it off, and for heaven's sake, DON'T have a bumper sticker that says “I am a fan of the Federalist Papers”. It could get you politically profiled by certain state troopers and get you pulled over and frisked (unless you enjoy that kinda thing).

If it gets out that you looked at the Federalist Papers, you could be labeled as a terrorist, I'm in trouble than. Not only have I read, but there's a copy in my backpack that I carry to work each day, right next to a pocketbook copy of the Declaration and Constitution.

Contrary to the contempt they are held in by the left, the “dead white guys” who framed out government were “Giants of Men” who understood the world well.
Many of us today because of the technological advances we have made, think that those who lived even 100, let alone 200 years ago, were uneducated and illiterate. Such misconceptions are expressions of ignorance.
There is a big difference between Knowledge and Wisdom.
Our Founders were above all else “Wise”, most honest, they valued reputation, and had learned to hate political corruption. Such an inheritance we were given.
Now “they want to destroy all of that” for the most fleeting of promises. Sheeple!
We are approaching the 4th of July and a time we should renew our commitment to the principles that this nation was founded upon.

And way more often than not came down on the opposite side of today's "common sense", "conventional wisdom" or "political correctness".

The ironic thing is, the Federalists were the "Big Government" types of their day. Or if not "big government" at least "powerful central government" types. It was the anti-Federalists, who opposed the Constitution as giving too much power to the national government, who caused the "Bill of Rights" to be written.
In reality even the Federalists did not oppose the Bill of Rights, they just didn't want its drafting and passage to delay passage of the "base" Constitution and the creation of a stronger "federal" government to replace that under the old Articles of Confederation.

I have soft cover copies of both the Federalist and the Anti-Federalist Papers. I used to keep them in my brief case when I worked in an office.
Every other year I take them off the shelf and read them.
After reading both I wonder where more than half of the Supreme Court rulings come from.
