Why do people think Jon Liebowitz a.k.a. Jon Stewart is funny? He’s not funny. He’s crude and tasteless. People keep telling me how funny he is and how I should watch the “Daily Show.” Why? So I can watch him say things like this?

Alex Leo at The Huffington Post was delighted that Jon Stewart mocked Fox News “crazypants coverage” of President Obama’s opus in Cairo. Stewart said of the speech: ”How will it play with the extremists?” and then showed a Fox News Alert logo and a set of Fox clips.
Then Stewart just let the hate flow, mocking Fox’s Gretchen Carlson with these words: “What a torture it must be for such pretty people to have to see such ugly things. That’s what happens when you view the world and apparently hear the world through ”sh*t-colored glasses.” (Complete with bleep.) Who hears with glasses? ...
What followed was thoroughly unfunny, unless you begin with the assumption that you cannot believe people do not see that Barack Obama is not just a gift to Americans, but a gift the whole world should treasure. The editing is quick and dirty, and Fox anchors and conservatives from Michelle Malkin to Jonah Goldberg are sliced into pieces and mocked as crazy.
Jon Stewart, you are as clueless as the president you worship. Michelle Malkin and Jonah Goldberg have had hangnails with more intelligence and class than you will ever have. You are also ignorant, hateful,

An acquaintance of mine watches Stewart every day. She is getting on my last nerve.

“Stewart” doesn’t even have the guts to use his real name, and he’s about 5’2”. The same people who think he’s funny also think Letterman’s funny, and get their “news” from MSNBC. The leftist plan to make America stupid has worked well.
A lot of people my age actually get their news from the Daily Show. It’s sad, really.

I was also kind of touched by his comments after 911.
What I'll never figure out is how the same person can turn into such a myopic, superficial, left-leaning idiot.
It is sad that some young people think that The Daily Show and Weekend Update on SNL are real news programs. Heaven help us all.

Even the Stewart fans aren’t as annoying as the Maher fans.
Watched him early on and got my fill soon after. Kids and wife tried keep watching.
But nobody on tv can be as obnoxious as me in real life.
I started ranting the minute his smarmy mug popped up on the screen:
“Oh look! It’s the Putz! They must have kicked his ass a lot when he was a kid! But they didn’t do it enough!”
They’d switch the channel just to shut me up.
They don’t even miss him now.
