I have been faithful lurker for several years and this is my first post. I have many years of apparel experience along with my wife. Anything and everything to do with clothing we have accomplished. Retailing, manufacturing, buying, etc.
I have been trying to come up with an idea that could benefit conservative and traditional minded Americans. Why not put together a website that would provide access to hundreds of retailers that would give conservatives great deals on clothing, shoes, books, services, etc., and provide rebates to help fund their favorite charities or bloggers?
Why not put our hard earned dollars toward retailers that support us and want our business? I have talked to people that would be more than happy to do this. I feel that one way to assert power is not to boycott businesses but to buy from their competitors. Put together a large enough group and they they will come to us.
I want to know if this is something that could gain support or not? Please let me know your opinions and or advice. I believe in the wisdom of crowds and think the people of Free Republic have a plentiful supply.

The great thing about the internet is that you never need to leave the house. I’ve been wearing nothing but a codpiece made from a Jetson’s lunchbox since 1998.

We need a conservative alternative to the MSM. I don’t mean alternatives to activist/opinion outlets like CNN, MSNBC..etc,
but full fledged conservative alternative to program/entertainment channels like ABC, NBC and CBS. Without taking control of the culture we cannot expect people to go vote for conservative Republicans on election day.
Sorry, what was the website you wanted to start again ? :)

Don’t look at me, I’m still wearing the same underpants I had on since the Carter Administration.

Don't have one here. We also have Betty Griffin House, for unwed mothers. They have a thrift shop. I've found some really amazing deals. Clothes aren't really important to me, I'd rather channel my money to things I really need or want.
Clothes are just to keep the skeeters from biting my butt.

But Betty Rubble is hot. (The cartoon version not the movie version. (((shudder)))
She’s no Judy Jetson but I prefer my women a little older.
