I'm watching Fox News on Time Warner Cable in the Albany/Saratoga NY area.
During commercial breaks and shows, the audio 'slurs' for just a second. Was happening last night, too. Seems like every 10 seconds - when it's happening.
Anyone else hearing it or is my tin foil too tight?
Sorry if I bother anyone with this post, but it's driving me batty.
(also, I'm writing this in the 'Body of Thread' box - 'Body of Comment' box is empty - I hope this shows up correctly!)
I noticed it a couple of days ago ... and again today.
me too, only commercials, florida
This has happened for the past couple of days.
All I know is CBS has turned to snow. I only got rabbit ears and I’m not getting a converter box.
Are you watching in HD? I’ve noticed it there.
MPNBC (Ministry of Propaganda-NBC) must be jamming them.
I noticed it yesterday during Special Report and the commercials. I have Verizon FIOS.
I have FNC running all day when I’m home. I had the same problem a few nights ago. Whenever I’ve called Comcast for the problem, they just say its a digital issue. They said it happens occasionally. When the audio goes out, you see these little digital cubes all over the screen.
I don’t think there is a cause for alarm...OReilly won’t allow it!
How much have you had to drink tonight?
If by “slur” you mean the audio track slows down for a milisecond then, yeah, it’s not just you. I noticed it yesterday during Cavuto-drove me a little crazy.
It's happening to me here in Florida except it's a complete blackout for about 2 or 3 seconds.
Doesn't look like anyone at Fox reads FR, LOL.

Just a glitch in the Matrix. Nothing to be concerned about.
I’m in Manhattan and it’s been happening to me for over a week now. You can’t watch it—garbled words! I’ve sent them emails and called the technical line. It’s happened to my folks in Florida, too—my mother thinks it’s you know who.
Yep, was noticing it primarily during music backgrounds of the commercials. Quite odd. Never recall encountering this before. Reminds you of hitting a bad spot on an old reel-to-reel tape.
Thanks everyone, you guys are quick!
I’m glad it’s not just me, but wow! Pretty crappy to be happening across the board.
Not HD, and after the news of the day (7 months), frankly, I ain’t drinking enough!
Cheers to y’all. :)
Noticed it here in Alabama for the past several days. Thought it was the wind buffeting the new dish.
Glad it’s not just me. Midwest here reporting in.
Pretty soon we’ll be in ICQ mode, I guess, powering up the hams.
It happens when Obama’s FCC thugs are monitoring which channels you are watching. Lights go off all over the panel when you switch to Fox News.
Yep. Or the Outdoor Life Channel, or hockey games, or movies like "The Manchurian Candidate" and "Seven Days in May."
