Former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld routinely used militaristic passages from the Bible on the cover pages of White House intelligence documents, according to new revelations by GQ magazine.
It said Rumsfeld displayed the passages over photographs of US forces in Iraq to curry favor with then president George W. Bush, despite concerns about the incendiary impact on the Islamic world if they were ever made public.
One republished on the GQ website came from March 31, 2003, showing a US tank roaring through the desert about 10 days after the United States invaded Iraq to topple the regime of Saddam Hussein.

I love it! Rumsfeld was a great asset to the US, and it was most unfortunate that they managed to force him out.

I agree that they’ve been waging holy war against Jews and Christians since the 7th century. But that doesn’t mean we need to descend to their level. Let’s just be disciplined enough to view it as a justified self-defense and leave the Christian holy war out of it. It gains us no advantage. When we fight for justice we are fighting for God, but Justice will do as our justification just fine. Is there any harm in leaving it at that?

Descending to their level would be deliberately attacking their women and children and making no distinction between innocents and combatants.
Make no mistake: we need to understand that we are already are in a holy war. It was predicted by Jesus and written about by John.

A holy war on their part does not mean we should sink to their level and validate their belief that it is a holy war.

I still say we are not "sinking to their level" by agreeing with the muzzies that this is a holy war. To them, it is.
We need to recognize it for what it is. Look at it through you enemies eyes and you can gain a clearer understanding (not you, personally, everyone as a whole).
Again, sinking to their level would be us beheading and indiscriminately killing non-combatants, just like they do. Besides, Christians use scripture on a daily basis in their walk with the Lord, as we put on our "Armor of God" each morning.
We can recognize they view it as a holy war and engage it with that consideration, but for the US to view it as a holy war goes against what even the Founders thought.
I don't understand. Please explain.
