If you're not attuned to the philosophy of Objectivism, are interested in it, or are skeptical because of criticisms you may have heard, this is a fantastic interview wherein Ayn Rand expresses herself very clearly and concisely in defining and outlining Objectivism, while clarifying her stance against some tough examples of criticism from Wallace.

Ah yes. Ayn Rand, the blow hard who removed the concept of personal responsibility from the libertarian platform.

Talking with another social liberal.

Quite a feat on Wallace’s part.

How do you understand anything Ayn would say wth that thick Russian accent? She once did an ad for teh New York Daily News (back when it was conservative) and literaly the only words anyone could understand were “Ayn Rand” and “Daily News.”

Actually, the first video was a bit of a waste because Ayn Rand does nothing but spout “Age of Enlightenment” atheism. But she is really good in the second video when she is talking about government and where we are headed. It’s almost prophetic.

Rand was a very unhappy human being, so that listening to her views about how one should run their lives is like taking advice on dieting from an obese person. But here views on government and the price of liberty are very relevant.
