Our Vice-President is proving once again that he is a couple of bottles short of a full six pack. On the Today Show this morning, he did what he could to ramp up the swine flu Panic. He was asked what would he tell his family to do about the swine flu. That is when he launched into a discourse about staying off any airplanes, buses or trains. Because if someone sneezes on a plane it goes all over the plane the same with buses and trains. Gee flu or not I don't think I ever want to take a plane, bus or train ever again. EWWW I think I need to go shower a few hundred times.

I saw this on Drudge and my first verbal response was “Biden is an *sshole!”.

I live in San Antonio where we just finished having Fiesta week with two very large parades on Friday and Saturday night. I marched in the Saturday night one where there were at least 500,000 folks watching. I must of “high-fived” 200+ people. It would seem to me that if there was a real problem with this flu then after these two parades with their density of people we would see a major uptick of cases in south Texas....

In the case of airplanes there's the problem of airlines trying to save money by limiting the airflow through the plane. The problem appears not as bad as it was ten or twelve years ago.

The “manufactured crisis” is what we are seeing now with this Flu Panic. Biden did his job this morning to stoke more “panic” fuel into this crisis! The MSM is doing their job also by supplying updates every 15 min. on every “probable” case that they can find!

Actually, what Biden said makes sense.
As quick as this think has spread to 34 states, not using mass transit makes sense.
The economic damage from panic avoiding of mass transit, could well be less than the economic damage from the spread of the flu due to not panic avoiding mass transit.
