The cool thing about attacking someone that's been dead for over 100 years is that they can't fight back. The other cool thing is that you can use them to fuel your race baiting so that you can get some cheap publicity, get noticed, or play the faux "civil rights leader" on TV.
Such is the case in Auburn, Alabama where a city councilman decided to get noticed by ripping tiny Confederate flags from the graves of long-dead Confederate veterans buried in a local cemetery. Shockingly those flags were placed there on Confederate Memorial Day. Who wouldda thunk it, eh? Confederate flags on Confederate graves on Confederate Memorial Day! Shocking, I know.
Despite that this has been going on for well over 100 years, this councilman puffed himself up to being "offended" because he claimed he was a "civil rights leader." He said that the tiny flags made him feel that the cemetery was "like a Klan rally or a skinhead rally." He put on his showy high dudgeon claiming that the tiny flags are "intimidating to black folks." Yes, he, an elected official, is "intimidated."
Blah, blah, blah, etc., etc...

He should be prosecuted for theft.
The guy offends me by him being so ignorant.
The guy should be charged with theft and, if the local statutes are there, desecration of gravesites-multiple counts.
These men should have little Confederate flags on their graves. If I was there I would replace them myself.
I wonder if he has the same outrage over the Democrat party’s terror wing, the KKK, and the way they used to lynch blacks to keep the down on the farm.
Probably not. It’s all about the flags of the Democrat party ... Hey, how does that work again? Wasn’t it Democrat governors who stood in the school house door and put the Confederate flags on the State Capital domes?
Obviously, he isn’t a student of history.
Racial intimidation is against the law and this man should be arrested, arraigned and imprisoned for a long time. On the left there is a movement to criminalize speech, if the succeed in passing such a horror, every race baiting college prof who hates whitey and teaches that shniz should be fired and the endowmment that funds that program should be divided up amongst the victims.
Well, this guy managed to get himself noticed!
Noticed for being a ... BIGOT
Noticed for having ... NO TASTE IN CLOTHING
Noticed for ... DESCECRATING the GRAVES of Military INdividuals
Noticed for Destruction of Private Property (I am assuming those flags were “Not his to do with as he pleased”
Just because our white ancestors did some DUMB things in the past.. does NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO BE A RACIST SONOFAB****!!!
**The guy offends me by him being so ignorant.**
I’m more OFFENDED by that JACKET!!!!

Dixie ping
This is trespassing and vandalizing private property if not actually desecration of graves.
The smirking homie needs to be publically warned that the cemetery is now being watched and he risks having that smirk slapped clear off his face if he is caught desecrating in future.
Or maybe he invades that cemetery with a police escort.
I think that no less than William T. Sherman would slap the dog snot out of this asshole.
Grave desecration
Hate crime
The Freaking Negro should not have left the cemetery by his own power....
Remember a couple years ago a US citizen was charged with a crime of destroying property when he dismantled a Mexican flag? Why isn’t this guy being charged?
If you listened to a video of this bigot, he is about as ignorant as they come. We live in a two class society, namely Negroes and all the other races. If you are black, the law does not apply to you. It is only for white people.
If he had desecrated my family member’s grave, he’d eat that flag he stole.
No, rescue that flag!
Then thrash the desecrator to within an inch of his life.
Well. I am a gurrrrrl. (woman) I don’t usually beat up little boys (men) Even weinies that scream to be hurt bad.
