I admire Congressman Peter King---he just doesn't give a rat's ass who he angers, he is going to suggest what's right whether it makes him popular or not. He created a fire storm suggesting its time for the US government to more closely monitor Mosques in the US. He fought the Democrats in congress to provide whistle blowers with immunity for reporting suspicious activities and mitigating terrorist threats relating to transportation security, He also was a fighter for the cause of "Libel tourism," and he told the truth about Gitmo Prison.
Now he is being attacked by the Terrorist enabling organization, CAIR, The Council on American-Islamic Relations. But King isn't being intimidated, in fact, he is taking the attack as a badge of honor:

Good job, Peter! I don’t always agree with your policy positions, but on the stuff that counts, you’re on it! Kick CAIR’s a$$.
I just wrote Peter King and thanked him for sticking up for the Veterans and finally putting the emphasis for “watching for terrorists” where it belongs-on the Islamic terrorists who have become our enemy because of their words and deeds. I am not from New York, but will contact my own Congressman and Senators and tell them to join King on this one and get the gonads to tell DHS where to “step off”. All New Yorkers should right Rep King and thank him for his stand-no matter what they think about how he votes on other issues. at least he’s right on this one; and we need to give credit where credit is due. Then they will know we are listening and watching.
Seems as if the 'Rats could be very vulnerable in NY next year, as the current governor Patterson trails badly in a trial heat against Giuliani. Of course, we don't know at this point whether either will run.
Thanks for the ping!
Well, if moderate muslims would speak out against the extremists and monitor their own mosques, the rest of us wouldn’t be profiling them. Good for Peter King. Go,man,go!!!
The Republicans had better watch the ballot process. The slimedogs are pulling every trick in the book.
