In a battle of blonde conservatism, a war of words seems to be heating up.
Meghan McCain, daughter of the former presidential candidate and his wife Cindy, writes about politics and pop culture via her blog for TheDailyBeast.com.
She recently turned her keyboard on Ann Coulter, the acid-tongued conservative commentator, calling Coulter the "poster woman for the most extreme side of the Republican Party."
McCain admitted she's been a Republican for less than a year, but said she's "drawn to GOP ideals" and wants to fight for the party's resurgence.
She also wrote that she is not "suggesting" she should in any way be considered a "voice for the party" but she doesn't think Coulter is doing much to help the Republican agenda.

Bingo! I don't have a cat is this catfight. Can't say I'm a fan of any of them. I don't think Meghan McCain ever claimed to be a conservative though, and I recall last year during her father's campaign she admitted she didn't even register as a Republican until she had to in order to vote for her father for President. She's definitely liberal leaning. Her "Blogette" behind the scenes photos of the Palin family were great last year though. Loved all the cute pics she got of the Palin kids that weren't shown in public.
Of course Coulter is an obnoxious loudmouth attack dog who is as helpful to our side as Michael Moore is to the left (sometimes she even seems like a liberal caricature of "what conservatives believe" when they want to portray us all as hate-filled Christian zealots), and Meghan McCain is quite right to point it out, even if Meghan herself barely qualifies for RINO. A stopped clock is right twice a day.
Her Father has been in GOP all his life and she has been a Republican for only a year?????
Just goes to show you there are no shared values in that family. Sort of explains McCain’s lack of loyalty in general... Meghan is a chip off the old block.

She is a joy to listen too. Laura has a sense of humor that grates on me, because I grew up within 50 miles of her, and she sounds like my kid sisters dormates and quite frankly it has gotten old. She also lost me when she said the Big3 need Jack Welch to turn them around. I can't stand Jack Welch, she really step into it by broadcasting she knows zip about business with that comment.

Puhleez don’t flatter her. She isn’t close to being in the same league intellectually or experience wise as Coulter or Ingraham.

I think there’s an extreme on both parties and I hate extreme.

You got that right. She learned it from her daddy, who the Liberals she's currently talking to, would never vote for, even if he was running for dog catcher.
As a voice promoting her feeble inherited ideology (in the mush-mouthed, addle-brained tradition of her father), and tackling, or I should say “attempting” to tackle the the far more worthy and formidable Ann Coulter, he sure comes off as a “kid”, and not one I find worthy of paying any attention to...an annoying “kid” who should be seen, but not heard, as far as I’m concerned.
Throw in some bikinis and a mud pit and I'd pay to see this!

As a critic of our plus-sized nation (especially huge women who blame everyone and everything else but themselves for their problems) I see McCain’s weight as totally irrelevant to the issue.
Laura’s remark was stupid, unrelated, and childish. I wrote her off a long time ago for her numerous hypocrisies...this just makes me feel better about it.
