According to some info I read today, UBL said in part (in his latest message): O Allah, punish the Crusader/Zionist coalition and those who help it.
ANSWER: No can do that would be against Gods will.

“Jihadist Virtual Culture”
by Daniel Kimmage
February 20th, 2007
“JIHADIST VIRTUAL CULTURE”
SNIPPET: “With jihadists able to operate openly only in conflict zones such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia, the internet has become their natural refuge. Fully aware of the medium’s accessibility and openness, they use it less a place to hatch plans and discuss operational details than as a web of virtual ties that bind together an imagined community of the likeminded. Yet their ultimate designs are real, not virtual, and the network of loosely linked websites that is for now the clearest expression of what might be called jihadist virtual culture speaks volumes about the current state of this global movement, its evolving ideology, emerging tendencies, and, finally, the vision of the future its adherents would like to impose on those around them.”

“ISLAM’S HISTORICAL JUSTIFICATION FOR JIHAD”
SNIPPET: “This section of DiscoverTheNetworks explains that the concept of jihad as “holy war” is by no means a recent departure from longstanding Muslim tradition, but rather is a continuation of that tradition.”

“Terrorists Among Us”
By Jamie Glazov
FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, March 16, 2009
SNIPPET: “FrontPage Interviews guest today is Ben R. Furman, the FBI’s Former Counterterrorism Chief. He writes a blog at blackhawkpress.com/blog, and he is the author of The Devils Darning Needle, a counterterrorism thriller.
FP: Ben R. Furman, welcome to Frontpage interview.
I would like to talk to you today about the infiltration of terrorists across U.S. northern and southern borders, and the groups here that support it via facilitating illegal alien immigration.
What is the state of this problem as we speak?
Furman: No one knows how many terrorists are currently in the United States, but that they are here is not debatable, and the tally goes up each day. Its natural to be swept away by the frightening battle occurring along our southern border, and its easy to be overwhelmed by the flood of illegal aliens crossing over that are eluding capture, but theres a similar problem on our northern border that cant be overlooked and it is equally as serious.
Terrorist infiltration is a deadly ongoing problem that our counterterrorism and law enforcement agencies face, both externally and internally, and in many respects the internal obstacles are the most troubling. Rooting out terrorists is a difficult job under the best of circumstances, but its made more difficult by the open border crowd that labels the agencies or anyone trying to control illegal immigration as racists, xenophobes and bigots. And the current mantra of political correctness has darn near beaten common sense police work to death.
FP: Can you give us some examples.
Furman: Sure.”

“Bin Laden in New Audio Message: Victory in Iraq Will Allow Us to Infiltrate Jordan, Enter West Bank, and Liberate Al-Aqsa”
SNIPPET: “In a 33-minute Al-Sahab audio message, posted March 14, 2009 on Islamist forums, Osama bin Laden outlines his plan for liberating Palestine.”
I suspect that OBL and other senior AQ leaders may have moved away from the region, and now could be somewhere like Yemen. There is no strategic reason for them to stay in the Pakistan border region where they know they are being hunted from satellite surveillance. Yemen offers a warm, usually cloudless climate and a lack of government curiosity, two things that people on the run and wary of strangers most value. Parts of Yemen are so unpopulated that the approach within thirty miles of any sort of organized US-sponsored presence would be quickly detected by low-grade surveillance. It would also be relatively easy for Bin Laden to come and go from such a location, in deep disguise, with one or two trusted aides, and make fairly extensive journeys throughout the world. Anyone with the chutzpah to knock down the twin towers would probably thrive on the excitement of such activity. In the byzantine atmosphere of Pakistan, he risks exposure in a multitude of ways, but in much simpler Yemen, he only has to bribe one or two people and he’s set.
Thank you for your feedback and sharing your thoughts, Mr. O’Donnell.

bin Laden tape observation:
UBL references Resolution 1701 in his latest diatribe.
United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 is a resolution that was intended to resolve the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict.
It was unanimously approved by the United Nations Security Council on 11 August 2006.

Where is Osama bin Laden? U.S. zeros in on Chitral, Pakistan in hunt for 9/11 mastermind
Saturday, March 14th 2009
Where's Osama? Try Chitral, once a trekkers' paradise in Pakistan that has been sealed off to outsiders and is now regularly buzzed by American spy drones. The U.S. won't say it officially, but an exhaustive Daily News investigation finds the world's biggest manhunt for the monster who murdered nearly 3,000 people on 9/11 has zeroed in on Chitral's stunning peaks and deep valleys.
Six U.S. and foreign officials confirmed to The News that northwestern Pakistan's impenetrable Hindu Kush mountains - which boast some of the world's tallest climbs - in the Chitral region have been eyed as Bin Laden's hideout since 2006 by Osama hunters aiming for the big kill. A lengthy review of evidence, including recent Predator fly-bys, Bin Laden's tapes since 9/11 and interviews with three dozen experts on Al Qaeda, Pakistan and special operations, point to these vast mountains as the terror chief's most likely haven.
Captured Al Qaeda leaders have given up as his hideout. "Debriefings of Al Qaeda leaders arrested confirmed this," said Rohan Gunaratna, author of "Inside Al Qaeda." Two senior foreign officials said the nearby town of Kalam also is suspect.

Thanks, Cindy.
As I said, just an observation.
You’re welcome Oorang and thank for the post here.
Chitral...yes, that has been rumored to be the place off and on for years now.
You’re welcome Vel.
Thanks to a special emailer for a copy of the message.
Bin Laden said in part, "To my patient, persevering Muslim brothers in Mujahid Somalia: peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The war which has been taking place on your soil these past years is a war between Islam and the international Crusade."
