Mary-Kate Olsen is totally unrecognizable on the cover and inside of the March 2009 issue of Interview. Its a different look for her, ice goth queen meets strung-out chic in a daring dash against her previous innocence. Some would say, bring back the old Mary-Kate; others would applaud her for the new creativity. What is your verdict?

Awful. That general look could be aesthetically striking, but none of those pictures is well done.

improvement hands down. She looks clean for once. I can actually see her face and it is not dragged down by greasy hair falling in her face. This has style atleast.

It looks like they tore the lining from a casket and draped her in it.

My dear, a baseball bat to the head is "striking", in much the same way as "that look". It's hideous. It's atrocious. It's an abomination. She's basically a very pretty young lady ... that look gives her the appearance of a zombie. It's a blasphemous insult to God and Nature.
Away with it, and mercilessly flog the homosexual faggot of a designer who perpetrated it.

She’s just engaging in some artistic venture. Although the shots are not of ‘the girl next door’, they are well done and not trashy.
Personally, I’d like to do some shots of her with the same make-up; she has some great features and poses well.

Good verbiage, as always. And by “that look,” I meant the all-white style. It can be done well, at least as “art photography,” if not in real life.
Can’t blame the designers for Mary-Kate Olsen though. She’s done it to herself. Usually she looks like she selected clothes from the Salvation Army racks with her eyes closed.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that in the not so distant future she is.
Its a shame. All the money and fame, and yet nothing to ground them.
They (both Mary-Kate and Ashley) make the typical A-list celebs look like paupers (financially speaking). And yet they don't really seem to be happy.
No thanx, I'll GLADLY keep my life as a mid income construction worker.

As she gets more and more frantic to stay in the headlines she will eventually go to doing nudies and finally porn like so many other talentless “actresses”.

Wow...who would have ever thought that my self-inflicted 1st grade haircut with grade school scissors (the day before school pictures no less) would be considered fashionable!
To: Mister Ghost
Wow. The last time I saw haircut like that was when my 4 yr.old had gotten hold of the scissors!
