Please pray for the family of my dear Friend David K. (I don't believe he was a FReeper, so I'd like to keep his name as an initial).
David passed away at this afternoon in the Seattle, WA area. He was in his mid-forties (just a couple of years older than I am). He lived in Seattle with his wife and three darling young boys. David is no longer in pain from the cancer that he fought for 9 months, but his family will need all of the grace and blessings we can bring through prayer.
Thank you all in advance, and please forgive me if I am slow to respond. I have some praying and crying of my own to do.

Praise God that in the midst of their grief, David's beloved family is assured of joyous reunion. Joining you in your prayer, MortMan, that the God of All Comfort will sustain them in the days ahead.

I thank God that David was relieved, in the ultimate sense, of his painful burdens in order to return to the Arms of Our Lord.
I join his beloved family in their mourning and pray that they receive the warmth and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
The sadness and disruption dows not end with David's death, but continues to haunt their memories of a leader and loved one of this family. Their adjustment will be prolonged and I pray that friends and relatives hold them up in a material and emotional sense.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I will be praying for his all of his family and friends - especially his wife, and boys.
May God wrap all who are grieving in his arms, and help them to know the comfort only He can give. May He help them possess strength, know peace, and feel the Lord's love and grace during this time of sorrow. Lord, please help this family and all of this man's friends remember his life with happiness and joy, please replace their tears with laughter and good memories of their dearly departed loved one. Please welcome this beloved husband, and father into your loving arms...
