There are no pics in the article on “Revealing Viking Fashions”, 2nd from the bottom. I cannot visualize what the article describes.

There's an article on eurekalert.org with some images: Vikings did not dress the way we thought.

From the one on Viking fashion:

The find suggested that women's skirts consisted of a single piece of fabric that was open in front. Suspenders held up the train and functioned as a harness that was fastened to the breasts with clasps.

May I say, "ouch!"?
