If you look up the biography of Columnist William Pfaff it says:
William Pfaff (born in 1928) is an American author, op-ed columnist for the International Herald Tribune and frequent contributor to The New York Review of Books. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and is of German, English, and Irish origin. He currently resides in Paris.
What is probably missing from the biography was that his favorite books are probably the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and Mein Kampf. In an Op-ed published in the International Herald Tribune this past Wednesday, Herr Pfaff decided that the reason behind the Mumbai attack was the JOOOWZE. In Fact ALL of the worlds problems started right after the creation of Israel:

It makes me wonder what these Jew-haters really want. It’s not like Israel was carved out of — I dunno — a South Pacific Paradise or anything like that. And it’s not like Israel has any oil — gotta be one of the few places in the Middle East aside from Yemen where there is no oil. Israel doesn’t even have any diamond mines or anything. Just a dry, dusty place where Jews live and call “home”. So why not let them live there in peace? They mind their own business and don’t cause any trouble.
I do not understand why people can’t just leave them alone.
It’s not like Jews drive aeroplanes into the sides of buildings, or blow themselves up in crowded marketplaces, or shoot up women and children in hotels, or kidnap people and saw off their heads on TV. They don’t even artificially keep the price of oil high.
So why not pick on, say, German-English-Irish op-ed columnists instead?
For us to go back to being subordinate & at their mercy.

I often wonder if the reason folks like this Pfaff character hate the Jewish people and Israel so much is spiritual, whether they know it or not. The underlying reason, I think, for the irrational hate of the Jewish people and Israel may be hate for the God of Israel, who gave the Bible to the world through the ancient Israelites, and for Christians, the Gospel through them as well. In his generation, it was not proper to openly express hate for Christianity and Jesus, so they transfer it to the people and land of Jesus. Just my opinion.
Some people are just obligate shi’ites..
Well said.
