Tonight we spoke with a friend from Hillary Clintons campaign who is now working for McCain/Palin and is specifically working with Democrats for McCain in Pennsylvania. We worked with her in Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania for Hillary and have spent many LONG hours with her in the trenches in all of those states. Shes smart, doesnt BS, and never lies.
She says the same thing we do: John McCain will win Pennsylvania.
On November 4th, the news networks are going to be spinning and sputtering and playing catchup, but everything we see on the ground in PA is what we saw during the primaries: Obama has no shot of winning the Keystone State.
Here is specifically what we talked about tonight: never in any of our careers have any of us ever seen members of one party switching sides and voting for the other party as we see in this election with Democrats for McCain. There has never been anything like it. Not even the Reagan Democrats who voted for Reagan over Carter, for the simple fact that these Reagan Democrats werent identified and labeled until AFTER the election.
No, Democrats for McCain are real, are voting for McCain right now, and are open and organized, as well as self-identifying. Lynn Rothschild might be our poster gal, as one of the most prominent of our ranks, but its telling that everyone from Team Hillary that we know now works for McCain. ALL OF US. Whether they are open about it, like we are, or are working quietly behind the scenes, we cant think of a single person we worked with on a daily basis for Hillary who is now working on behalf of Obama.

If this is true, McCain will win. My guess is that we’ll hold Ohio and Florida, and maybe Colorado. If we take PA, its over.

She worked for Hillary Clinton and she never lies?
Yeah right.
I spend 7 days a week in a local GOP HQ in Virginia working for the campaign. That said, I do not believe these HILLBUZZ people one bit. All they show is is anecdotal evidence based on hearsay.
I know they packed the Giant Center in Hershey this morning. People stood in the rain for almost an hour waiting to get in the doors. It was a very exciting rally.
I see more than a few “Democrats for McCain/Palin” yardsigns here in PA. YARD signs, which is a pretty personal announcement!
If McCain pulls this off and the democrat party accuses McCain voters of racism, let’s hope they lose them forever.
Read the site and the archives, they do not want him to win. They want her to run in 2012.
Very personal and more than most people are willing to do in this cycle due to fear of reprisal.
Mac might lose CO and VA but keep OH, FL, and take PENN. If so, can he win?
yes
If it has, I just saw it posted this morning on their site. I know they do one of these articles at least once a week. Sorry, if it has been posted.
Thanks, sorry about that.
Yes. The 2004 election was as follows ...
Bush — 286 Electoral Votes
Kerry — 251 Electoral Votes
Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Virginia have a combined 37 Electoral votes. Pennsylvania has 21 Electoral Votes.
If Obama wins all four of those, but loses PA (all other states remaining the same as 2004) — the election looks like this ...
McCain — 272
Obama — 267
Word is, McCain may win New Hampshire (4). And, there’s a solid chance of him holding Colorado (9) or Virginia (13).
Basically, the whole elections rides on PA. If Mac can take PA, the whole map changes, and Obama MUST win (1) ALL of Colorado, Virginia, New Mexico and Nevada AND (2) either Ohio or Florida.

NPR can only find those hoping that the slick talking "One" will, ah, fix, ah, everything.
The man does have a talent for making what would otherwise shocking or ludicrous, sound reasonable. This, in spite all the clear examples of the resounding failures such policies as 0bama purposes inexorably produce.
I am heartened that to think Pennsylvania might not fall to the socialist. If this does occur, then maybe all those mouth-breathing rednecks (everbuddy knows PA is just chock-a-block full of 'em) are smarter than their collective bad breath would lead one to assume.
If they can dump Murtha too, then maybe we can move away from the pork-barreling, you-support-my-earmark-and-I'll- allow-yours, type of legislative format.
That sort of "law-making" stinks worse than all the armpits of all the hillbillies in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Tennessee combined.
LOL.
I don't think "hillbuzz" is a liar, but she might be having a Bosnia sniper-fire moment here:
The same people who ran the board for us in the primary who assured us daily that the polls the media was pushing were wrong in claiming Obama would beat Clinton in PA tell us on a daily basis that McCain is going to win Pennsylvania. Theres a damn good chance this wont even be close, if what people are seeing on the ground right now holds, and is indicative of the whole state.
Um, that's not the way it was. As you can see, polls showing BHO ahead in the PA primary were very few and far between (3 out of 77, and 1 tie!)
