"You don't get introduced by John Glenn every day," Bruce Springsteen said yesterday at an Obama get-out-the-vote rally at Ohio State University, as reported by the Columbus Dispatch.
Former Sen. John Glenn, D-Ohio, was -- along with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. -- one of the Keating Five, the handful of senators who met with federal regulators to urge them to ease up on the savings and loan owned by contributor Charles Keating.
Hours after Glenn introduced the Boss at the Obama rally, the Obama campaign launched a campaign attacking McCain for his Keating Five activities. They made no mention of Mr. Glenn.
How do you attack John McCain for Keating Five but then have another member of that scandal introduce you? Who advices this man?
Forget that... I more worried about the unwashed morons that will vote for Obamasiah...
If he’s like most lefties, he makes all the big decision by himself.
He honestly doesn’t see a problem with throwing “Keating five” at McCain and then cozying up to Glenn. He knows his amen chorus in the media will see it the same way too.
I believe it's Jake Tapper, but that aside, Tapper must have a wild hair, because this is at least the 3rd time in this election cycle that I've seen Tapper deviate from the Messiah Stream Media. Maybe he's trying to get fired from ABC?
SHEESH!
I haven't heard a single Repub spokesperson today say a word about this.

“Breaking down the facts on McCain’s role in the Keating Five scandal”
From the Chicago Sun Times
I’ll admit I’m surprised this came from ABC. During the debate if Obama brings up Keating McCain needs to say, “I was exonerated by a democrat lawyer and the other senator who was exonerate was speaking at your rallies yesterday. You won’t see Ayers at any of mine.”
The pubbies have already replied:

From the Washington Post:
“In an interview, Bennett said McCain should never have been dragged into the ethics case to begin with. He said that after his own lengthy investigation, he came to the conclusion that the case against McCain and former Sen. John Glenn (D-Ohio) “should have been dropped” because the evidence suggested that once McCain understood that the Justice Department was investigating Keating, he backed off any involvement. Dowd noted that McCain threw Keating, once a strong supporter, out of his office after Keating pressed him to intervene in his case.”
John Glen is an odd cookie. He is a fanatic anti-2nd amemdment nut. The John Glen 2nd amendment reasearch center at Ohio State University is a hot bed of anti-2nd amendment research. I have never figured him out.
Maybe he’s sharing ideas with the man he campaigned for in 2006, Raila Odinga.

How about Obama openly campaigning for his communist cousin Odinga who signed a pact with Muslims to enact Sharia Law if elected and started riots when he lost. Obama campaigned for an openly Anti-American candidate in a foreign country in 2006 at taxpayer expense.
GREAT post, Bob .
