Lord, we ask You to guide and protect Track Palin. He has volunteered to serve his country and protect all of us. He has a servant’s heart. We ask You to Bless and protect all of our troops. Please go before them into battle to reveal where the enemy is hiding and also where they have left bombs to kill and maim our troops. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Are you still in Iraq?

Yes. And it barely resembles the place I first arrived in early 2004 and the years that followed.

It is much more peaceful now and the streets, markets and parks are bustling with activity. The rebuild is now in full swing.

For the first time in decades, Iraqis are not living in fear.

May God continue to bless the U.S. and coalition forces.

This day, Merciful Father, many young men and women will go forth to serve their country, in places known and unknown. May the Heavenly Host go with each one, to protect and to guide. Grant wisdom, that they would evade the snare of the enemy ... turn aside every assault. Daily diminish the power of those who seek their harm, unto the time when victory is won.

Even as America's sons and daughters bring peace and stability, may they also bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Turn the hearts of the enemy into hearts made ready to receive the Good News of Jesus Christ. Even in the midst of war, may the Prince of Peace reign.

Grant, O God, the desire of the hearts of Todd and Sarah Palin, that their beloved son would escape injury or harm. Return him safely to the land and the home he loves, and to the family who awaits.

And may it be so, Merciful Father, for each who leave this day in service to our beloved country. Grant them safe passage, victorious service, and joyous return.

In the Name of Jesus, may it be thus, Amen ...

A prayer goes out for every man or woman who put on the uniform and stands between terrorists and our homes and children. To the soldiers of 1st Stryker, my God protect you when you stand in the mist of evil.

Thank you so much for the ping, Velveeta.

May God bless and protect Track Palin, and all of the courageous men and women serving in our military...

The following prayer was copied & pasted from "Daily Troop Watch" at Prayercentral.net

-Ps.91:15 “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him, and honor him.”

“Lord we come before You and thank You that Your ears are open to our prayers. Our hearts are concerned and we ask You to keep our loved ones safe who are serving abroad. Release the help of Your angels. Your word says, “to You belong escapes from death” and we ask You to give many escapes from death.

We thank you for these men and women and especially remember those who have children back home. The fathers and mothers who are risking their lives to help others. We ask that You would give unusual safety from every kind of danger, and that in Your mercy You would preserve their lives so they can be rejoined with their children.

We also remember those who are sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters. We lift our concern to you, and we ask that You would release your help in this time when we find ourselves so limited in what we can do. Give them the comfort and courage they need. And protect them from all life endangering elements.

We thank You Lord for hearing our prayers and releasing Your help. Thank You that You really are a God who is near in times of trouble. And we ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.”

Don't Forget Our Homeland Security
Pray for wisdom and discernment over those guarding our nation at the borders and at customs check points.
