How silly these people are. Not wearing existing fur clothes does nothing.

I once told a PETA @$$h0le who accosted me at the Clyde Beatty circus handing out pamphlets criticizing the conditions of captive animals at the circus.
These circus animals get 3 squares and a roof over their head.....I hunt down, kill and eat a number of deer each year. I have no problem with what the circus does here.
The PETA jerk look like they were going to faint.....

Well, he’s pretty much the only person left on the planet who actually wears fur, so I guess this makes sense.

PETA has no standing with anyone who knows what they do in California. In San Francisco after they confiscated "dangerous" dogs like Rotties, Dobies, Pits and others, they were caught destroying perfectly good dogs that they claimed they were going to find homes for. These were PETS, they were not fighting dogs, but because of breed specific laws, the owners could not keep them. PETA advertised that they'd find good homes for the pets but killed them instead.
There's websites about how merciless PETA is at http://www.petakillsanimals.com and http://www.animalscam.com.
The Pope is not beholden to any group other than the Magisterium or to any person other than God. I'm sure he'll pray for PETA and those who are members.

I wear fur. I have a lovely sheared mink jacket that’s my primary winter coat. I’m very sensitive to cold, and I got a fur coat because it’s warmer that any other coat I’ve ever had.

There is a big difference between seeing oneself as a responsible custodian of the natural world, and believing that animals have "rights". I would argue that the first is an example of considered and moral behavior, while the latter is obvious idiocy.
Needless to say I have no problem with the Pope wearing fur.

I hope Pope Benny finds a polite way to tell those nuts to stuff it.
By the way, I had a pizza at Papa Gino's #0325 in Hudson, New Hampshire last Tuesday. The receipt indicates the Large Works and Large Cheese pizzas were the "papa1" special. When we left, the rain had stopped and there was a beautiful double rainbow.
Go, Benny! Give them heck!"

The Pope not only wears them, but eats them as well.
Oh, well.

PETA believes that animal ownership is “speciest”.
Their only goal in banning breeds is to check one off of the list and then move to the next breed.
They believe that all animals, including farm animals, should not be owned by humans and should return to their natural habitats and live naturally in the wild.
PETA is anti-human, not pro-animal. And people are ignorant when they refuse to look into PETA and learn that there is a difference between animal rights, which PETA is concerned with, and animal welfare, which is where your local dog catcher works.

What OTHER use is there for MINKS???? Can’t eat em. God put them here to give us warm clothing.
