I requested to have my original post to be pulled, in case you were looking for it. In its place I'd like to offer an apology.
I sincerely apologize for the rather abrasive post I made regarding the work of another. It was out-of-character, and uncalled for.
It takes a real man to admit when he's made a mistake, and when he was wrong, and I would like to do just that.
I should have known that cracking on others is not the way to win friends and influence FReepers. I owe everyone here a debt of gratitude for sticking with me, and supporting my research.
There's a back story to all of these reports that should be told, but not by me. It would explain how I felt and why I overreacted, that is, if anyone was really interested to know.
Think for a moment what it would be like for you to spend two months and hundreds of hours on a discovery that you made, only to have it snatched away without any acknowledgments to it. Not on here, mind you, because FReepers know how to make them.
I'm a bit discouraged by how things have turned out. Nevertheless, I do have legitimate gripes against others, but those gripes should never be aired in a public forum.
And I promise you that it will never happen again.
I am still committed to the cause, to see that Obama never steps one foot into the White House. That is a lot more important than receiving any accolades that might help this process along.
Thanks for listening.
Ron Polarik
That would be great, too!
I think I had Kahlua before. But that was years ago. Don’t remember. I’ve had espresso with Sambucca in it. I have that at Thanksgiving every year with my dessert.
If I hadn't been following your work, Techdude's and all the postings at Atlas I wouldn't have gotten involved and discovered the Edwan donations from Rafah, Gaza.
I think we have all made a difference working together.
Can we sing We Are Family now?
Thank you for that!!! Needed the laugh :-)
Where is Texasdarlin? Her blog has gone missing. Did the obamabots get her. What is up? I am a little concerned.
No need IMHO.
You are doing good work.
DaVinci makes a sugar free Kahlua flavor and it’s great in coffee.
Wow!!! I didn’t know.
I will look for it in Panama (R of P).
Thank you for the heads up.
Regards.
Thanks, Amityschild, for your support, and for everyone else who has been supporting my efforts. I'm actually thankful that I don't have as big a bullseye as TechDude..
Thank you for the compliment. I think that I can stop biting my lip.:-)
That would be good. Although my preferences gravitate towards (1) Grand Marnier, (2) Bailey's Irish Creme, and (3) Godiva liquor.
Those are excellent suggestions.
I like the taste of all three.
I can drink Panamanian coffee if I go the decaf route.
You can’t believe how strong coffee is here in Panama.
American coffee (compared to Panamanian coffee) tastes like bland weak tea. One cup of Panamanian coffee leaves me hyper for 24 hours.
In taste, though, there is no deference between regular and decaf. (Panamanian coffee that is.)
I will try it.
Thank you. I will try all three (separately...or maybe together?) and get back to you.
My best regards.
Thank you.
And another thing. Again, I didnt read your post to which you refer. May I infer he stole your investigation and said it was his?
If so, Good. He will never do that again. It was not you but he who put his family in jeopardy for being an intellectual property crook. You had the right to yell.
LOL!!!
And another thing. It is he who is hiding with his family and not you. You, in that sense, are very lucky because of his greed.
You may want to write him a thank you note in the future if he is still alive.
