I have acquired additional information related to my earlier posts today (at my blog) on the subject of Barack Obama’s ‘Certification of Live Birth.’
My first post on this subject, Obama Birth Certificate, Fake?, included an analysis that I came across by a blogger named Polarik, who concluded based on “20 years of experience in computers, printers, and typewriters” that the document provided by the Obama campaign (and published by Daily Kos) was manufactured.
In a subsequent post, Certification of Birth from Hawaii: Where’s the Seal?, I showed a ‘Certification of Live Birth’ from Honolulu County for Patricia Decosta, which I found posted at Free Republic (thanks to reader shainzona). (And yes, I know it’s a “right wing” publication but that does not make the information false).
Here is the document posted by the Obama campaign on its Fight the Smears website as evidence of Obama’s birth in Hawaii in 1961:
And here is Ms. Decosta’s certification:
Now, compare the two documents. Polarik’s technical analysis notwithstanding, my lay person’s eye noticed three differences right away:
1. Ms. Decosta’s certification displays fold marks, which you might expect to see on a document sent through the mail.
2. The certificate number on Obama’s document is blacked out; Ms. Decosta’s is not.
AND
3. An embossed seal is visible on Ms. Decosta’s certification; there is no embossed seal on Obama’s. (You can see the embossed seal very clearly on the larger image at FR here.)
The Vital Records office in Hawaii has confirmed the following with respect to requests for certified copies of birth certificates:
1. Certifications of live birth are always mailed from the VR office, and never transmitted electronically.
2. Certificate numbers are never blacked out.
AND
3. Certifications will always have an embossed seal.
Not true. Pixelations occur around contrasting elements.
I can give you an example in a couple minutes, soon as I’m done with something else.
First off, whydid this originate through Daily KOS and not the official Obama website.
2. WHy the refusal to submit the BC long ago when reporters were asking.
3. Speculation from Geraghty from NRO is that the name on the BC is actually Barry Dunham, (the mother’s maiden name) and not Obama.
4. Speculation also that the parents were not married.
5. We know too, from Beckwith’s posting, that Ann Dunham was 17 when Obama Sr. impregnated her.
6. The couple are students. What did they use for money for the medical care they received. Is it possible that they went to Kenya where the medical care would have been free?
7. Why is there no public record of the parent’s marriage or divorce?
8. Why are TWO hospitals listed as being the birth place of Obama? ONe of the two did not even exist until 1989, (See my earlier posts on this)

Yes, as in contrasting elements of text and background. I’ve already examined the barak BC. It is not consistent around all the text.

Something else. Why has the campaign headquarters changed, and it seems like they’re attacking head on any rumors and doing so without precision as if to attack the accusers personally? It seems like they are gearing up for a huge onslaught from the right and Hillary.
I don’t think it matters who the candidate, Repub or Dem, we have a right to know the background of the candidate. It needs to be an open book. You go to Dixon, IL and Reagan’s history is EVERYWHERE!!!!!
In comparison, Obama’s story has been manufactured by him in his book.
Why doesn’t he have an official biographer? And those bios out there take exerpts from his book rather that doing actual research.
I am confident that the truth, whatever it is will come out.
So what you ask? He posted it on his very own debunking website as a legitimate document.

The moonbats over at KOS think that we’re idiots, just like Dan Rather and CBS did with “memo-gate”.
I disagree with those who say that this is a ‘non-issue’. It is the tip of the iceberg. John Kerry refused to release his military file so that the public could see what injuries he received with respect to the three purple hearts. The leader of the free world needs to be held to a higher standard. George W. Bush released dental records to establish that he was in AL at the time he was supposed to be there and the moonbats didn’t even accept that.
I see a huge double-standard here. Obama, if you have nothing to hide, be forthcoming with your birth certificate, and put this to rest.
It’s ridiculous for FReepers to spend any time at all on this. Obama’s origin is fine; he’s a US citizen. It’s his policies and beliefs that stink! We should be spending our time getting the word out on that to all the Obamabots, not “investigating” this kind of nonsense.

Did Obama's mother do that? I don't know. And, even if she did, I would ask two questions: (1) Was it done legally, recorded by the U.S. government?; (2) Was it done before Obama was born? If the answer to either of these questions is 'No', I don't see the relevance of this issue.

I don’t think that presenting a bogus document as genuine is something we should ignore.
Someone is trying to scam us . . that someone is Barack Obama and the mainstream media.

It really bothers me that they list the mother as Caucasian and not White in Obama’s BC but in the authentic BC the mother is listed as White.
Idle curiosity. I was thinking more of the hippies who used to go abroad and make a big deal about renouncing their citizenship and what was the status of their hippie spawn.
